Haunte Hathaways One-Shot Comfort

Louie's POV

I groaned as I failed again to possess a human on my own. I tried again and it didn't work.

I gave up and went to my room.

'How come I mess up? I studied and nothing works.' Then I thought about Frankie's essay. Most of the things she wrote was right about my ghosting skills and the doll incident and my summoning of Glenda.

'Maybe I am not a good ghost.' I thought sadly.

Miles' POV

I used my ghosting skill to give Michelle her vase back.

"Thank you Miles for helping me clean up the mess Frankie and Taylor made when they were practising cartwheels."

"No problem. I love helping people in need." I said. "If you need me I'll be in my room."

"Okay."

I went upstairs and saw Louie reading Tween Dream.

"Hey Louie. You reading Tween Dream?"

"No,I am not reading Tween Dream." He said, trying to hide the magazine.

"Okay, whatever you say." I sat down on the couch and started counting my bow ties.

"Hey Miles?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you think I'm a bad ghost?"

"N-no, you're not a bad ghost." I need to work on my lying skills.

"So I am a bad ghost. I knew it." He sighed.

"Louie you're not a bad ghost. You just make mistakes. After all 'Practise makes Perfect'."

"Uh-Huh." He said, not believing me.

I got up and gave him a hug.

"Miles! Stop hugging me!" He protested, fighting to get away from my grip.

"I'm just trying to make you see you're not a bad ghost." I said.

"You mean that?"

"Yes. We're brothers and we have each other backs no matter what. We're a family." I tell him.

"Thanks." He said so quiet, I almost didn't hear it.

"What?"

"I didn't say anything!" I smiled.

"Love you bro."

"Me too."
