A Sonnet for The Doctor
Oh Doctor, traveller in space and time
Who's always brave and never too unnerved
I wrote this quaint and rather silly rhyme
In hope this shows respect that you've deserved
You save us and protect us all from harm
But praise and thanks you never do receive
Astounding wit, intelligence, and charm
So brave and good, it's so hard to believe
Dear Doctor, how I wish that you could see
That you are so important to us all
The things you do, spectacular to me
You always do come running when we call
The one who looks so young but is so old
With secrets, burdens, pains he's never told
