Disclaimer: I don't own the Golden Girls

Sophia walked into the living room to find her six year old grand-daughter sitting on the sofa looking glum and sad.

"What's wrong pussykitty," Sophia asked.

"Well," Kate said, "When mommy told you and daddy and grandpa that she was going to have another baby you said that this one wasn't an accident. It must be a disapointment to you that I was born."

Kate's eyes filled with tears.

"Katherine Sopie Zbornak you are many things both good and not so good but you never have been nor will you ever be a disapointment. When I say you were an accident you were the best kind of accident. You weren't planneat, But you were like a gift. The angels decided to give you to us. You understand Pussykitten?"

Kate looked up for a minute thinking it over in her head.

"So I'm the best of the best then," Kate asked.

Sophia couldn't help smiling at that one.

"Yeah sure you're the best of the best but don't tell anyone. It's a secret."

She kissed the top of Kate's head.

Then she walked into the other room.

"Pussycat," Sophie said, "We may have a problem"

"What's wrong Ma," Dorathy asked.

"I might have given Kate the impression that she's the best of the best"

"Oh," Dorthy said smiling, "That's not a problem. That's the truth"

I will write a second story dealing with that soon. I just want to finish up Through The Years series
