Background: Raven recently discovered she had a brother and sister, but during the whole Trigon escapade they were killed. In this fanfiction, Beastboy comes to comfort, but it's not as it appears.

Anxiety
Raven stood on the beach watching the waves crashing to the shore and sifting back whence it came. The wind whipped around her, stinging her cheeks and burning her eyes that were brimming with tears. Beastboy walked slowly towards her, dragging his feet through the course sand. He stopped when he came up to Raven, watching the path of the ocean too.
"Beastboy?" Raven asked softly.
"Yeah Rae?"
Neither one took their eyes off the waves.
"What if you knew something was going to happen, but you couldn't do anything to stop it?" Her breath was becoming more ragged.
"I would try to spend as much time as possible with the people you love before it's too late," Beastboy turned towards her and took her hand in his, "Rae look at me."
She turned with eyes closed and silent tears streamed down her cheeks.
"Open your eyes. Please Rae." Beastboy pleaded.
She did as she was told.
"I could have saved them. I really could have. I let them go….just like my mother."
"Rae, that wasn't your fault. None of it was. Stop blaming yourself." Beastboy said gently.
"But those visions. They came for a reason!" Raven cried.
"You weren't meant to save them. No one was."
"How am I supposed to let go? They were my family."
"But we're here for you. We'll be your family if you let us."
"You already are."
Raven threw her arms around Beastboy, "Thanks for being here…in my dream." She whispered in his ear.
"Anytime." He whispered, before she woke up.
Raven sat up in bed, wiping away stray tears from the dream and smiled at the new day before her.
