Danny stomped through the front door of his own home. It had been storming the whole day and was currently pouring. The front door slammed shut front the gusts of wind. All the lights were off in the house except a stream of light coming from the upstairs. Jazz must be home.
Danny stood there, sopping wet in the dark living room, with an annoyed look on his face. He dropped his purple backpack on the carpet and headed up to his room. He passed Jazz's room. Jazz took one look at Danny and knew that something was up. She popped out of her room and grabbed his shoulder, turning him around to face her.
"Danny, what's wrong? Is it ghost related?" She stage-whispered the latter question. Her failed attempt to keep quiet only irritated him more.
"Ughhh Jazz!" He screamed with anger and pushed her away. He then ran into his room and slammed the door shut, leaving Jazz standing in the dark hallway alone.

Danny did not come down for supper. In fact, Jazz hadn't seen hime since he came home. She decided she would have to talk to him sometime this evening, sooner than later. But with the way he yelled at her earlier, she chose later.
Jazz finished all her school work, including a and looked at her alarm clock near her bed. It read 9:14. It was too early for her to go to bed, but too late to do anything else. She sighed and decided she would take a shower and get a snack.
Suddenly she remembered she was going to talk to Danny. That was, if he even let her, she thought sadly. She wandered over to Danny room. The door was still shut and locked.
Jazz knocked on it. At first, there was no response, then there was a faint voice.
"I don't want to talk to you Jazz."
"Danny, why are you acting like this? All I want to do is help you, but you keep pushing me away. And it hurts." She trembled.
Again there wasn't a response.
Jazz then walked away from the door with no hope of ever figuring out was was wrong with her brother.
