She is all wrong

Author's Note: I enjoy pairing Andie up with anyone that isn't Chase. No idea why. This isn't necessarily a romance, though. It can be taken anyway you like.

Shout out to, jadex, who has written the first ever Blandie! Definitely worth reading that one…

The Right Stuff

She's all wrong, Director Collins muses as he watches her. Too curvy, too clumsy, inflexible (her mind as well as her body). He knows he has to make her right, straighten her out. Personality is second to perfection after all.

His parents planted him here because they knew he could make something out of the place. An academy to rival Julliard. There can be no weak links, no blemishes. She could be a weakness if he doesn't do something. He has to do something. Because he really does want her here. He wants passion and grit and beauty without stage make-up or strategic lighting. She has all that ("and a bag of chips", Chase is fond of saying). But he has responsibilities, to the school, to the family. He can't let her ruin everything he's worked so hard to build…

He knows he has to make her right, even if it means dimming the spark in her eyes. But he also knows that she is strong and unalterable and she won't submit. He's glad. Because Andie is the kind of wrong that makes Blake want to come to work every morning…
