Prologue
After years of serving Kandrakar, the girls have finally gotten a chance to go back to their normal life, serving their time as Sovereigns and now the time has come for them to retire while new Guardians will soon be chosen to defend Kandrakar.
Hay Lin went to college at the China Academy of Art to get a Bachelor's degree in Art. After graduating, she spent the rest of her life in Hong Kong where she reunited with Eric Lyndon after he graduated at Open Hills University with a Bachelor's degree in Astrology. They marry and give birth to two children, a son and a daughter. The son's birthmark had the symbol of the Air Guardian on his left shoulder.
Cornelia moved to California, where she started attending the college at San Francisco State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Fashion while Caleb remains in Meridian waiting for her. After she graduated, Cornelia became a Fashion Designer and opened up her own boutique. Caleb left for California and married Cornelia, causing them to have a child of their own. A son, who had the Earth Guardian's symbol on the bottom of his left foot.
Irma moved to Florida to attend a law school and became a Police Officer like her father and became reacquainted with Martin Tubbs who she started dating, out of boredom of course, but later, she began to fall in love with Martin and married him and gives birth to a son, who had a birthmark that looked like the Water Guardian's symbol which was located on the bottom of his right foot.
Taranee moved to Texas with Nigel to go to college together. Nigel went to Paris Junior College while Taranee went to college for dancing. They later married fresh out of their separate colleges and gave birth to three children. Two daughters and a son, who had the Fire Guardian's symbol on his shoulder.
Will, on the other hand, remained in Heatherfield to help her mother prepare for her marriage to former teacher Dean Collins as Susan gave birth to her half-brother William, who also had some magical capabilities. Will, later, went to Heatherfield University and studied Science while her boyfriend Matt was on tour with his new band. After she graduated she became the new science teacher at Sheffield and married Matt after he came home. She always kept the Heart of Kandrakar with her as a reminder of her time as one of the Guardians. She also gave birth to a son who had her symbol on his chest: The Symbol of Quintessence.
In Meridian, Queen Elyon also married, to Bryan McKnight, who she had told about her life as the Queen of Meridian. He was okay with the fact only a Queen could rule Meridian and had instead became her consort. She gave birth to three children, two boys and a girl.
Meanwhile, in Kandrakar, Yan Lin could sense a new threat approaching and when she heard the news about her children. She knew what she had to do.
