Greetings Earthlings! So, I wrote this last year in math class for a friend, and the little girl is based on how she (apparently) was as a kid. I changed her name for publishing purposes, though. Referring to Grell as female in this by the way!
Disclaimer: I most certainly do not own Kuroshitsuji.
And on that note: enjoy!

It had all started when Grell was on duty. She had (ugh, finally) finished collecting her allotted souls for the night, (and without incident, even! Well, that was partially because she didn't end up running into Bassie or the Phantomhive brat, but still, she would count it) and was about to return to Headquarters when she felt a small tug on her coat. What the...?
Looking down, she saw a young face peering up at her curiously, and she felt herself blink as she realized it was a little girl. Grell attempted to gently shake her loose, but to no avail.
"Little girl," the reaper began, "why on Earth would you come near me?" Leaning closer to the child (and hoping this would scare the small one off), she added, "Don't I frighten you?"
"Not really," the girl informed her with a shrug, fist still closed around Grell's prized red jacket, voice much too innocent to be able to talk to a reaper without fear. "You're much less scary than those bastard monsters that I've seen before. Where are you headed to?"
The reaper blinked. 'Where on Earth does an innocent girl learn language like that?', was her first thought. That was quickly followed by, 'And why won't she let go of me?!'. Fidgeting with her chainsaw, Grell finally replied, "I'm merely off to work. Nothing interesting here; you can move along now."
The girl paused, hand belligerently shut tight around the reaper's coat. She took a deep breath, than asked, "You... You're one of those people who see whether we live or die, right?"
Grell, taken aback, could only nod dumbly. 'How does this child, this precocious young girl, know what a reaper is? How...?'
The girl finally released her grip on the redhead's article of clothing, and, tilting her head to the side, broke out into a grin. "I'm Elsie," she told the adult next to her, "and I wana be able to kill all those scary bastard monsters. Take me with you?"
And, apparently, that was the end of that.

Well, that was an interesting little story, wasn't it? Yeah, I know it's weird XD. I don't think I'm going to continue with this; I like it as a oneshot (or would it be a drabble? Is it that short?) and kinda just want to keep it the way it is.
How did I do? Let me know down below.
See ya!
