John held the little boy in his arms as he knocked on Sam's door.

"John? What are you doing here? Who's child is that?" Sam asked as her eyes wandered to the little boy in his arms. Her arms ached to hold him...her heart told her that he was hers, but she was afraid to believe it. It couldn't be true, her little boy had died.

"He's your son," John stated as he placed the baby in her arms.

"How can this be true?" Sam asked. "My child died."

"He didn't die. That night Todd Manning found you unconscious and he didn't want to tell his friend Tea Delgado that her baby had died so he switched out the baby's. He would have gotten away with it to, but when I ran into Tea, I knew that she had your son and I had to be the one to bring him back home to you," John explained.

"Thank you for finding him. He wasn't the only one that was lost. I was lost without him and you saved me," Sam whispered as she leaned into him and gave him a kiss.

"Sam, we can't. You have Jason and I have Natalie," John stated as he pulled away.

"Jason's the reason that I was lost to begin with. Can you honestly tell me that what we feel for one another is a mistake? I don't think you can, because you need me just as much as I need you."

"I should go back to Llanview, but I can't. I can't leave you...god help me, but I don't want to say goodbye to you again," John whispered as he leaned his forehead against Sam's.

"Then don't. Stay with me and little John."

"You're naming your son John?"

"Why not? It's a good name and he wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you? Stay the night with us and then if you want to go home in the morning we won't stop you," Sam pleaded.

"I don't have the strength to leave you...not again," John stated as he closed the door behind him.

Sam grabbed John's hand and led him to the bedroom where she placed her sleeping boy on the bed.

"Make love to me John," Sam whispered against his lips before she kissed him. They continued kissing as they tore each other's clothes off. He couldn't wait any longer. He had been lost for so long now and he knew if anybody could help him find himself it would be her, his soulmate...his other half.

He lowered her to the ground and pushed his erection into her as she moaned in pleasure. He took her hard and he took her fast until both of their needs had exploded in a moment of complete ecstasy.

"I love you Sam Mccall," John stated as he pulled her into his arms. He couldn't deny his feelings any longer. It wouldn't be fair to her and it wouldn't be fair to him.

"I love you too John Mcbain," Sam stated as she closed her eyes feeling happy and content for the first time in months.
