Fallen Angel

You gave me a second chance to forgive myself,

You allowed me to see the light of day and the darkness of night,

the crimson gleam of the burning sun, the white rays of the icy moon.

Smell the sweet fragrance of newly bloomed carnations,

still covered in the slick drops of morning dew.

You gave us mortal bodies with souls of immortality,

an unimaginable and irreplaceable gift that can be crushed,

Taken away forever.

Like a fallen angel,
under the clouds of heaven,
I have doubts, of why I'm here.

Where did I come from?
Is this just a dream?
Such a precious thing called life,
but why choose a sinner like me to live?

I betrayed you,

and you looked pass that.
Sins forgiven, but not forgotten
neither white nor black...
Now they're gray, scars of the past
A fallen angel, a risen demon, stranded with gray flightless wings,
just a little lower than angels...

My wings were black, covered in sins,

but yet you realized me and saved me,

allowing myself another chance.

You are willing to vanish and disappear, if it is to save me…
