Broken Heart
Rip my heart out, make me cry.
(Sakura watches, tears pouring down her face as Itachi walks away from her.)
Make me feel like I wanna die.
(Itachi sees Sakura break down, but keeps walking.)
Turn around and say you love me.
(Sakura hears him say I'm sorry, but it only makes her cry harder.)
I was just too blind to see.
(Itachi thinks You were too weak for me.)
You don't feel the same, I should have known.
(Sakura thinks You couldn't accept me for me.)
I spill my heart and get cut to the bone.
(Itachi drops the ring she put on his finger the day of their wedding.)
Nobody cares, not like they say.
(Sakura's heart breaks more as she sees the ring glint in the moonlight.)
They pull you close then push you away.
(Itachi blocks out the sound of her sobs, choosing power over her love.)
I guess I just never learn.
(Sakura blocks out the memory of another Uchiha, doing the same thing.)
To play with fire you risk getting burned.
(Itachi walks out of the village.)
(Sakura collapses in tears.)
(Itachi thinks No regrets.)
(Sakura thinks Again...an Uchiha breaks my heart.)
