Disclaimer: I do not own Kingdom Hearts.

I really wasn't sure about the grammar in this, but I tried. If I need to fix something-shout it out.
For some reason I find grammar in poetry more confusing than in a story.

I don't like this piece much. There's a good deal I wish I could change. But I did like some lines and the idea...So I tried to make other lines fit the lines I did like by simplifying it and stuff. Didn't turn out as well as I hoped, but I figure it at least kinda rhymes and whatnot...I suppose I make myself feel very untalented when I write poetry that isn't flowery.

I'll admit I do like the Namine's ending thoughts, however. xD
The characters included in this are Saix and Namine. I think I made that pretty clear though.

I'll appreciate any and all critique, advice, whatever. ^.^

x-x-x-x-x-x

The sun bathed a white dress in red,
Her entire being reflected the influence it had.
The sight of this glowing town brought back a memory
Of something a bitter man once sneered.

"They are fools.
Never choosing to live in the light or the dark
they teeter on the edge of each."

Thinking of the scar on his face,
She wondered of the 'X' and its place.
A twisted insignia-distorting so many names.
All proof that what they lacked
Was the one thing he could never look past.
Silence was all that had answered him.
Now alone, she replayed the scene again and again.

Finally, she knew what she always wanted to say-
Dared to wonder if he could reason the same:

"Fool or genius?

Is it really so wrong to live in a world forever in

the limbo of such indecision?

Perhaps they just understand the necessity for both.

What is light without darkness?

There is no beauty in a flame, without shadows to

illuminate just how brightly it burns.

The townspeople concede with the fact that they need

both to exist and thus are rewarded with perpetual

sunsets.

If only we were so lucky to have embraced that

intelligence long ago."
