Can you imagine losing the one person who meant the most to you? Most people believe they can; thinking they'd cry and have a fit, but no my sweet friend, it is much worse than that. Let us use Raven Roth and Richard Grayson as an example, shall we?

Raven was doing laundry as she awaited Richard to return from the simple mission he demanded to go on alone. Her head perked up to the sound of the telephone's ominous ring, Raven bit her lip hoping it was Richard on his way home. She set the washer and swiftly walked over to the phone, sweeping it off the hook. After a few minutes she hung up the phone and sank to the floor. The damn robbers pulled some bullshit trick that left Richard to die in a back alley with a pool of blood around him; he had been pronounced dead as soon as the EMTs got to the site.

Please don't scoff, this is a prologue. Now, reader, I'm not sure if you are familiar with the stages of grievance, if you're not let me indulge you. The first stage is Denial, second is Anger, then comes Bargaining, followed by Depression, and finally Acceptance. Please, keep in mind that not all people go through this process; a few never make it to Acceptance.

Moving on, I wish to take you on a journey of extreme grief; we shall cover all the stages as well as another important factor that I like to call V.A.M.O.G. (Visions And Memories Of Grievance). If you don't feel like riding out the storm, please just click the back button. For those of you kind enough to lend me your eyes, I thank you, and hope you find this worth it.

(((Chapter One: Prologue.

Chapter Two: Denial.

There may be a week or so between chapters, because of school. Probably not though.

This is also a test run for my new writing style, please R&R it's really important, but don't be TOO harsh.)))
