Ally walked to her desk and set out her things. She was mentally preparing herself for the chaos that was to come. "It's only December 2nd and I can barely get my car through the streets." Ally said into the phone, she was talking to her roommate/best friend Trish De La Rosa. "I know I was 40 minutes late for work." Trish said. "Trish you are late everyday, and usually later than 40 minutes." Ally chuckled as her first student Kate Milshire and her parents walked in. "Gotta go bye." Ally quickly said before she hung up the phone to greet the Milshire's. Ally shook hands with her parents Erica and Jared."Kate says you are the "bestest" teacher ever." Mr. Milshire said using air quotes and Ally laughed. "Awe well I try." Ally smiled down at the little 4 year old hugging her leg. Not shortly after, a couple parents walked in with they're kids. "Okay I am going to do roll call." Ally said while grabbing her clipboard with her students names. After she said about 7 names she looked around the room and frowned. "Looks like Rose couldn't make poor thing she was so excited." Ally said as she put her clipboard down. Just then a blonde man with a little blonde girl on his back ran in. "I am so sorry how late are we?" He said in between breaths as he put the little girl down." Miss Dawson!" The little girl said as she ran towards her teacher. Ally crouched down so she was able to hug the girl. "Rose!" She said as she picked up and spun around with the little girl. Rose started to laugh as Ally put her down. "I'm sorry Miss Dawson we would have been here sooner if someone didn't have to eat 5 pancakes." Rose said as she glared at her dad."What! They are the best." He defended and Ally giggled and shook his hand. They stared at each other still hand in hand before Ally blushed and pulled away as Austin rubbed the back of his neck."I'm glad you and Rose we able to make it Mr. Moon." She said while smiling at Rose who was playing with some of the kids. "Please call me Austin." He said while smiling at her. "Okay then Austin." She said while she smiled back. Ally walked to the front of the room so she could make an announcement. "Everyone thanks for coming to the December party, there is a basket back there if you can donate anything that would be amazing It's going to a child hunger charity." She said while pointing to a small blue basket in the corner of the room. About 2 hours later it was finally Christmas break, Ally said goodbye and Happy Holidays to the parents and kids who left. The only people left in her class were Austin, Rose and herself. She laughed as she saw Austin stuffing cookies in Rose's backpack. She hugged Rose, then Rose started to form tears in her eyes. "hey I'll see you in 2 weeks it's not the long." Ally comforted Rose and whipped the tears off of her cheeks. Austin picked up Rose and said goodbye and Merry Christmas then started walking to the door. Right at the door way he turned on his heel to face Ally. "Ally would you like to go to dinner with me Sunday? My family has these crazy dinner party's during the holidays." He said with a nervous smile. "I'd love to." She said with a smile as Austin's face lighted up. "I'll see you Sunday oh here is my number." Austn said while handing Ally and little paper with digits. "Here I'll put mine in your phone." Ally said while putting her phone number in his phone. "Bye." He said with a smile. "Bye and bye Rose." She said as Rose blew her a kiss.
