It was the last day of summer after the Titan War. After encountering a strange with the night before, Percy and Annabeth decided to spend their last day together at an amusement park. The park had everything they could want, fun rides, puzzle games, and aquatic animal interaction pools connected to the ocean nearby. When they arrived Annabeth took Percy's hand and started to excitedly drag him to the biggest and craziest ride in sight, "Come on Percy," she said, "Let's go on that one first!"
"How about we check out some other things first," replied Percy, "and maybe get some food before we start the rides, we have all day after all."
As Annabeth was bouncing in excitement as they were in line for the ride, Percy was content to just sit back and watch her.
Annabeth continued to babble on about the most random of things throughout the day as she dragged her seaweed brain form one crazy ride to the next. She began to repeat the rides once the two had been on every single ride they could. Percy practically had to force her to sit down for lunch before she was off again, not even out of breath after running around all day. All the while Percy had a smile on his face from watching his beloved wise girl be so happy.
Their fun day came to an end around four that afternoon, when a pack of hellhounds attacked. The two launched into battle, Annabeth brought out her sword, Riptide, and Percy pulled out his dagger. The two charged and Percy called out "Alpha attack 7!" They then followed the strategy they had practiced so many times and took out the ten hellhounds within minutes, but the park was not spared. One of the rides had been knocked down and the park closed early. That afternoon the duo returned to camp with huge smiles on their faces.
