Numb
He felt numb
He didn't fell the rain, cold, he couldn't feel anything.
The blood splattering the walls.
Nina's Blood.
Quickly blinking away the tears blurring his vision he frantically reminds himself of Equivalent Exchange. He tried to bring someone back before and it didn't work. It would never work.
The Memory propels him forward, hands outstretched, coming to rest in the middle of the blood stains.
Hanging his head, he lets himself weep.
For lost innocence and a little girls smile.
As he is taken away he feel a little more of himself falling prey to "The Sin" and realizes that history has a way of repeating itself.
A/N – Quick note regarding "The Sin." I was referring to the night they tried to revive their mother. Overall, I'm not sure how I feel about this one.
