Author's Notes: ... Be afraid. I had to write a sonnet for English class last year, and couldn't think of anything. So, as a joke, I wrote a Sailor Moon one to get the juices flowing. I just found it now and thought it was pretty damn amusing. As such, I am sharing it with you.
She is fighting evil in the moonlight
(Wearing a sailor uniform and a skirt)
She is winning her love by the daylight
With whom she does occasionally flirt
But life is not so easy for this girl
She fights with enemies until she bleeds
Her life is like a never-ending whirl
She doesn't even much time to feed
As she's overcome by being lonely
A hand is then placed on her golden head
It gives her strength to kill the enemy
Alongside her five warrior-esque friends
For in her heart now springs her hope anew
Her friends will make sure she is never blue
