When I saw you for the first time your eyes were red
Deep burgundy, addictive eyes of a killer
Yet you wanted to live with us, a lot tamer
With different blood that the one with which you were fed
I fell for you, couldn't help it, you filled me whole
Day in day out I never saw your eyes turn gold
Over my heart you got an everlasting hold
When you went away I felt in my soul a hole
I understood, you had to go, to join your friend
And anyway under your will I was to bend
Never before happened to feel a love so strong
You disappeared, I broke apart and ran away
I let my hate, my bitterness lead me astray
But now I understand I did everything wrong.
