A/N: Hey kids, hows doing? This was just something I wrote while I was on a car trip, I thought it might be funny. So basically this is just a look at Blaise in the context of a Draco/Hermione story. It's not meant to be offensive and truth be told I have used Blaise in a similar way to the one I'm describing here so this is purely for fun.

Life As Blaise
So life as me…Um I seem to have appeared from nowhere at all really. J.K Rowling may have said my name once or twice somewhere but I seem to have been taken and run with.
I never really amazingly influence the plot but I'm always around and I'm quite good looking apparently. Wait, if I'm soooo good looking how come I never get the girl? How come Draco always gets her? What kind of best friend is he? And since when were Draco and I best friends? I think I'm being ripped off, he always gets the girl and I'm still his best friend…I must be stupid. Great now I'm a stereotype, good looking but stupid.
You know what else? When Draco runs off with Hermione in the end you never know what happens to me…I could be dead in a ditch somewhere for all you know. Or worse I might be the new object of Pansy's affections, I don't want to have a crazy fan girl…well, now there's two girls he's got. Damn him! That's it I need to talk to someone about this because this is ridiculous…really.
And who decided I was the oh so slick, evil Slytherin? I've always thought I was a pretty nice guy accually. Well, ok so I'm no bed of roses but I'd rather be friends with me than with Draco. I mean, he's awful to everyone, until he falls in love and then he suddenly turns into this uber sweet guy who's just misunderstood. Pfft, if anyone's misunderstood it's me, I'm just set up to look like a real arsehole. It's not fair I tell you.
And quite frankly, do you think Hermione would be that stupid? Not even, she'd fall for me…well maybe not but still…
Anyway back to me, next time I'm in a story I'm going to make a concerted effort to affect the plot. So, I'm off to talk to an author about my dilemma and see what can be done.
