Hello people I'm back It's been so long, just school and stuff, and I don't really feel like going on with my other story, so I am doing one which has been on my mind for a long time it's a Spartacus au in which hiccup has been kidnapped by Romans and forced to fight for his live. It is pre movie, but I have given hiccup some muscle and fighting skill. Pairings I will probably be doing are hiccup/Astrid or hiccup/heater, depends how it works out.

the sounds of battle could be heard from far away, berk was I combat roman troops attacked in the evening, sentry's spotted them of course, 60 roman soldiers in there leather and bronze armor , they charged from the docks Vikings met their charge with one of their own. That is how this battle started.

(hiccups pov)
I see many of the romans go down from my place at the lower gates my father gave me a bow and told me to not shoot a Viking in the back. I pull back the string and release another arrow it hits a roman in the shoulder.
Hear a scream I look to where it came from and I see something that I wish I hadn't, Astrid falling to the floor after being disarmed that is the last thing I remember before everything went red.

(Astrid's pov)
I sit on the ground un armed with 2 romans advancing on me, why was is so stupid ,my father told me to stay with the archers but I had to prove myself, now I am going to die, I close my eyes and wait for the pain but I hear metal colliding with metal, I open my eyes to see hiccup fighting off the romans with skill I didn't think he had, then it dawned open me he saved me, hiccup saved me, why would he do that, I've never done anything for him.
Hiccup: GO! Run I will hold them off!
He breaks me out of my thoughts.
Astrid: but I can help!
Hiccup: sorry to say it ,but in your condition, you'd be about as much help as a dragon raid! Now RUN!
I did what he said and ran as fast as I could all the way back to the gate. I then run into the chief.
Stoick: Astrid where is hiccup!
Astrid: he. .gasp. .saved. .pant. .me. .gasp. .he is. .pant. .on the docks pleas help him, he saved me.

End chapter one what do you guys say like it? Also what pairing do you guys want hiccstrid or heathercup I like both but I am leaning towards hiccstrid at the moment let me know.
