AN: This is my first PJO fanfiction so don't hate me if it's a bit OCC.

Disclaimer: Sadly I do not own the PJO or HoO series.

It was around two in the morning and Sally was still at her laptop. She was smiling sadly as she scrolled through pictures of Percy. Her baby. Her life. Her son. She felt tears filling her eyes but refused to let them fall. She knew Percy wouldn't want her crying over his disappearance. She clicked the next button. Percy laughing with an arm around his girlfriend, Annabeth.

Annabeth had visited her a couple of times and they both had shared their grief with each other. She could plainly see how much Annabeth loved her son. She also knew of the love Percy gave her back. Even before they got together, Sally could see that they liked each other and would, eventually, end up together. She knew that as long as they were together they were happy. But then Percy had been kidnapped and she saw how much Percy meant to Annabeth. Even though Sally would never let go of Percy she was willing to do so for Annabeth.

Sally clicked the next button again. Percy and Annabeth eating what looked like a blue brick shaped cupcake with their hands. Sally smiled for she knew this was when Percy and Annabeth had gotten together. She had got that picture from the Stoll brothers who had apparently filmed the whole scene.

Bring! Bring! Bring!

The sound of the telephone ringing jolted her and reeled her back to the real world from her own train of thoughts. Sally groaned inwardly and thought "Who could be calling at this time?" She decided to let the answering machine get it.

"Hi you've reached the Jackson/Blofis residence, please leave a message at the beep"

Beep!

"Mom" Sally would recognize that voice anywhere, it was Percy's, she stood frozen in shock " Hey I'm alive." She smiled at Percy's bluntness "Hera put me to sleep for a while, and she took my memory and…." His voice wavered and Sally's mind filled with questions and worries for her son. "anyway I'm okay I'm on a quest" Sally couldn't help it but she sobbed, her baby had no memories and yet was risking his life out on an another quest! "I'll make it home I promise, love you" Sally rushed forward towards the phone but was too late, the phone had already clicked. She wasn't there in time. Her baby was okay. He was fine. He'll make it back. Back home. Back to Sally. He promised.

Her tears were flowing freely and there was only one thought in her mind:

Her son is going to make his way back to his mothers awaiting arms.
