I suppose I should start from the beginning. In 2018, the concept of anthropomorphic machines had just been released to the public and development for a free form AI had been swiftly begun. Approximately 20 years later, the first Android was created, equipped the the ever-so-famous learning freeform AI. These were named the Hum4noids. At the start, Hum4noids were expected to live as servants to humans fulfilling our every need and aiding us with no other purpose. As time progressed, the AI began to think for itself, telling itself that it wanted the chance to experience everything that humans were able to experience. This ultimately lead to the peaceful revolution of 2058. The areas we lived in were separated in wards, as holding places for the Hum4noids. Now these areas are similar to neighborhoods and are open to humans and Hum4noids alike. Ever since then, generations have come and gone, with constant upgrades to the exterior and interior designs of the Hu4manoids as well. Humans and Hum4noids have lived together in harmony.
I, Dan Jensen of the 45th Ward, am living with my roommate C0-L3, or Cole for short. Cole is a 5cR3-3N Model meaning he doesn't exactly have a face, but an black LED screen that displays his emotions and expressions. Due to this, Cole favors wearing hoodies and jackets, things that could easily cover the most of his head. He stands at a mighty 6'3" and has a built structure lined with black Muscle Fibers covering all the necessary parts. He's a very respectful companion and I feel like he's the best possible roommate i could ask for.
On the other hand, there's me. My name is Dan, I'm a tad bit shorter than he is and I have a slightly stocky build. I work at a pastry shop in the downtown area, quite busy with rushing students during the early mornings and groggy adults later on, but otherwise a good job to have. While i'm out working, Cole works from home, as a Moderator for one of the worlds most productive companies, TEST. I guess that brings us to the present. A human and a hum4noid living together.
