It's a surprise birthday party for Yoshi and everyone is invited, even Bowser. Can they have a great time for Yoshi and have a happy birthday?
It's a nice day at Yoshi's Island where Yoshi is waking up to a beautiful sunrise and as he walked down to the calendar, he noticed something on the date. It's Yoshi's Birthday today. The green dinosaur is so excited that he wants a surprise birthday for himself. So he called everyone to come to the party this afternoon to bring gifts, party favors and a cake that is shaped like Yoshi's face.
While everyone is getting ready, Yoshi decided to have a few laps around Yoshi Circuit with his go-kart, the Standard Kart M. So he hopped in to his go-kart and asked Lakitu to start the time trial run. He asked, "Lakitu, do you want to come to my party later today?"
Lakitu replied, "I love birthdays and which one are you having today?"
"It's a surprise party for me."
Lakitu told Yoshi all about today's party and said, "Well, all right. I'm coming and before I go, may I start your time trial run?"
"Yoshi replied, "Yes, I'm ready."
"OK, 3, 2, 1... GO!"
So Yoshi drove off to the racecourse and began his time trial with a rocket start.
When he crossed the finish line on the final lap, he did an amazing run. The timer read: 1:50:112. Yoshi has set a new time trial record.
Later that day at Yoshi Park, Yoshi decided to ride the famous Yoshi's Island Dragon Coaster. Yoshi got in the front row all by himself and the ride started.
The coaster begins to go up while Yoshi is humming his theme song.
As the coaster reached the top of the first hill, he noticed something that after this ride, he is going home for the surprise. And then the coaster begins to plunge as Yoshi screamed with excitement.
When the ride ended, Yoshi said, "The party, I must hurry!"
When he got home, he saw that nobody was here. So he walked back to the house and when he opened the door, everyone shouted, "SURPRISE!"
Yoshi is so surprised that it is Yoshi's Birthday. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to the dinosaur and they all cheered when he saw the cake that Luigi made. The cake has Yoshi's face. And Yoshi blew out the candles by making a wish.
Bowser said to Yoshi, "Do you want to hit the pinata, Yoshi?"
"I love piñatas!" Yoshi replied as he got outside to the pinata which is shaped like his egg.
"Can someone blindfold me please?" Yoshi asked to Toad.
Toad has the scarf and covered Yoshi's eyes so he don't know where the pinata is and spun around him a few times so he'll hit it.
When Yoshi took a big hit, candy fell and everyone made a dash for it.
The next thing on the list is have a race at Yoshi Circuit and everyone is invited for a friendly competition. Lakitu counted everyone off and as the green light turned on, everyone began the race by using a rocket start and Yoshi is in 1st place when the race begins.
Now comes the best part, the fireworks spectacular for the dinosaur to end the party. Yoshi and the gang gets all of the fireworks and placed it outside on a nice clear evening sky. Yoshi asked to Bowser, "Bowser, will you do the honors by lighting the fuse?"
"You want fire breath on the fireworks, you got it!" Bowser replied as he reached the fuse.
Bowser used his fire breath on the fuse and ran as fast as he could so the fuse has time to reach the rocket.
When the fuse reached the rockets, it flew up to the sky and exploded in nice, beautiful colors. Everyone shouted to Yoshi, "Happy Birthday, Yoshi!"
Yoshi said, "Now that's what I call a happy ending!"
