It's on the finest hour of the graduation feast, when Harry goes back to the Mirror of Erised. It was not planned and he has to wander about the castle for moments at a time, remembering and figuring out where the mirror had been placed, but soon he finds it.

Harry does not look just yet, but recollects the moments building up to that moment. That moment when Harry jumps out of his seat after Ginny leans on him and rests her ginger head on his shoulder, and heraces out of the dining hall. The one moment that just so happens to strike a different kind of attention from the only one he wants attention from.

The memory makes Harry's heart swell up and overflow, making him start to choke up and sob as he walks to the it's when Harry sees Draco beside him in the reflection, hugging and kissing him, Harry knows it is time. It's finally time to suck up every doubt, every bad feeling, every anything and tell Draco how he feels.

That he would rather die than have to live without seeing the blond each day. Or that throughout the years, his feelings have only strengthened and grown to a point where thinking about Draco with someone else leaves him fuming mad and storming around. Where Harry's heart aches with images of having to wake up alone. It has gotten to such a strong feeling, that Harry would worship the boy day and night if he had to, to deserve Draco's love.

Harry looks back at the mirror once more and goes out to find Draco before he leaves forever. The Slytherin is found with some of his other housemates, but after a serious, yetteary-eyed, "We need to speak," Draco is separated from the pack with only slightly more effort than Harry had wanted.

The two reach a dimly lit alcove, where Harry anxiously asks Draco," Would you, perhaps, like to go out for coffee or butterbeer, maybe?"

For a moment afterward, Harry is afraid out of his trousers, because Draco has his hand over his mouth. Little did the Gryffindor know, the hand was disguising the biggest grin Draco had ever experienced. A moment later, Draco reveals the smile.

"Do you know how long I've waited for you to ask me that, Potter?"
