Authors note: I hear it is Korra appreciation week so I will do a few drabbles about Korra from now till a week from now (15/02/14). They will probably be quite short, sorry.
Bolin and Mako could hear her from their own room, she was mad again. Korra and Asami got back from the spirit world a little less than 3 months ago, the first month was sweet and romantic and just perfect… But as time passed things got rocky and when Korra got mad she didn't want to take it out on Asami so she would go to the training room in the arena and punch a punching bag releasing her anger. The brothers went to see what had happened this time, when she came over to let off steam they'd usually come and see what's going on and see if she could be comforted.
"Hey Korra," Mako said cautiously he didn't want to be airbended through the roof like last time.
"Shut the hell up Mako!" Obviously mad Mako put his arm out and moved back slightly to allow Bolin to try next. He walked up close and Mako thought she would punch right through his gut but he moved further still until he was right behind her. He placed his hands on her shoulders as she tensed but slowly relaxed.
"Why is it so hard Bolin?" She turned around sobbing and hugging him tightly as he stroked her hair and just tried to comfort her as best he could. "I wish Asami and I were like you and Opal you never fight and you're always so kind to each other and the rest of us…"
"Actually Korra we always fight, we just don't show it so that we don't have to get the whole team to get involved and pick a side." She looked up at him with a confused look as he smiled, Mako was behind them now.
"Yeah, Korra you're lucky you're not around when they fight it can get tense." Mako put his hand on Korras shoulder squeezing it gently.
"How do you resolve your problem?" Bolin smiled like their fights were a fond memory of his.
"She airbends me to the floor and we talk it out." Bolin smirked she couldn't believe how physical Opal was she was always so kind to everyone.
"Do you ever fight back?" She questioned once more not believing that he would take it lying down.
"No, never I couldn't hurt her so instead I get up until she stops airbending me around the island and talk with her, by then she is all tears and we talk things out good and proper and the we're okay again." He looked down at her with concern in his eyes. "Look Korra I think you need to properly talk to Asami take any hits she may throw at you because she is just letting off steam as well and we all know you can take a beating, then sit with her and talk through what went wrong."
Korra pulled back and looked at Mako who was looking pretty proudly at his younger sibling. "We would all be screwed without him wouldn't we?"
Mako walked towards him throwing his arm round his shoulders "Yep! Now go on go talk to Asami and tell her we said Hi" Korra smiled giving each brother a kiss on the cheek and ran out jumping on to Naga and ridding to Sato Mansion. She was lucky to have friends like them.
