Travelling with the Doctor... it's so amazing. You never want it to end – not ever.
At least, that's how you think his companions feel; Amy and Nina. That's how they feel, you're positive.
But what if you didn't want it to start? What if you were afraid of what was waiting for you out in the stars?
It doesn't matter.
You're the girl who can, and you need to be out there with the Doctor, travelling the stars.
Even if it's dangerous, even if you'll never ever return home.
Because you're the girl who can, and a few extra-terrestrial creatures don't scare you. No, nothing scares you.
You've read about the Doctor through the Dalek databases – Daleks may claim that they're all hate; no other emotion, but you know differently. Maybe they only have one other emotion, but only one other is enough.
Because fear, it ruins people.
(It ruined you.)
You're left sitting all alone in the confides in your fake human world, and you don't know if you're happy or angry that the Doctor left you behind.
The Doctor ran as soon as you commanded him to do so – he'll be with the pretty Amy and Nina by now, and you're happy he got away; you are.
But there's a little part of you that wishes that you were with them, searching the stars; discovering new things; living an extravagant life.
The Doctor wouldn't take a Dalek on one of his adventures, though. He wouldn't even give it a second thought; at least, that's your understanding of it.
And so, you're left in the Dalek insane asylum, and there's a little voice in the back of your mind, whispering "this is where you belong. Insane, that's what you are."
But you are human.
Always human.
Inside, that's what counts, right?
You're not supposed to judge a book by its cover: that's what your mom always taught you, growing up.
But maybe the girl who could believe in her own lie, just can't any more.
