As she sat in the sun that slowly fell she relaxed a little. Hermione sat alone, a safe distance away from the womping willow. Being completely honest it had been a tough year. She had jumped through time taking all her classes...it almost felt like she was ten times her age.

She looked at the place where herself, Harry, and Ron were almost killed by Remus. Of course not on purpose. Remus was a werewolf at the time, but it was still scary.

She layed back on the grass as she remembered how Snape stood in front of them, ready to risk his life for the students safety. Hermione could feel herself begin to blush. I'm such a hopeless case!

She heard foot steps approach her. She sat up and turned around. The girls eyes fell onto Draco Malfoy. His nose still bruised from her punch.

What are you doing out here all alone, Mudblood?" He called over.

"Shut up you bloody princess," Hermione retorted.

"Easy there." Malfoy sat down beside her. "You look a bit down today. Want to talk about it?"

"As if I'd confide in you."

"Who am I gonna tell your secrets to? Who would care about a filthy mudblood like yourself?"

Hermione contemplated these facts. She looked at Malfoy. Hermione didn't see any ill-will in his eyes. He seemed to be genuine. "Fine. But if you tell anyone I'll break your nose."

"Fair enough," Draco shrugged.

"I have...feelings. But I shouldn't because it's wrong and I know deep down they'll never like me back."

Malfoy nodded at this. "Same here."

Hermione looked over in complete surprise. "What? Who?"

Malfoy turned away so Hermione couldn't see his eyes. "You really wouldn't want to know. And after all, you'd be the last person I'd tell."

"Why is it me?" Hermione punched his shoulder teasingly.

"No."

"Then spill you bloody princess!"

Malfoy looked over at her. He gazed in her eyes. Then he grabbed her chin they leaned in together. Malfoy didn't know why. But he leaned in closer and they kissed. It was passionate. It was delicate. It was rough. But it was satisfying.

Malfoy pulled away. "It's Harry Potter."

Hermione sat in awe. Probably over more than one thing. "You kissed me."

"Figured it'd make the blow weaker. Now you tell me who you have feelings for."

"You're gay?"

"I jus fucking kissed you Granger. Does it bloody look like I'm gay?"

"It's nothing to be ashamed of Draco. I just want to know if that kiss meant anything."

Malfoy stood up. "I shouldn't have confided in you. I was probably your first kiss anyway."

He got up and stalked away. Hermione sat completely stun. Her head buzzed with all this new information. She layed back down. She didn't get up for hours. She even missed dinner.

Maybe Malfoy will notice I'm gone and come back to finish our conversation. Hermione would never find out because Snape loomed over her.

"What are you doing Miss Granger?"
