Stupid lousy god damn rich kid.
Liz sneered, narrowing her eyes as she pressed the gun deeper into the snot's temple. His poker face was unnerving. Shouldn't he be screaming by now? He had been the perfect victim: rich and stupid, sauntering down the alley (THEIR alley) like he owned it, wad of fat cash snug in his pocket. He was just a slip of a kid, all pale and skinny. Why, Liz wondered, did she feel intimidated?
"I SAID, hand over all you got, you fucking punk!"
Silence. His intense stare never wavered. Snob was completely unshaken.
"Wanna play it that way, huh?" Liz growled, grinning as her cigarette smoke curled into his face. At least that got a reaction out of him. Through their soul wavelength, she felt Patty laughing maniacally at all this. "You just hand over your money like a good little brat, and we might let you go without any holes through your head."
The reaction she was getting was definitely not fear. His golden eyes only flickered from Patty's gun form to Liz, seemingly thinking of something.
"We?"
It was the first thing he had said. His voice was surprisingly mature and composed for a pipsqueak being robbed.
The eldest Thompson sister faltered, grip on her gun growing sweaty. "Just give us your money!" She shouted, unease creeping in.
"You're the only one I see here." he replied coolly, focusing on the gun in her hand. He seemed...amused? That did it.
"HAND OVER YOUR MONEY, YOU FREAK!" Liz's finger was trembling slightly on the trigger. There was no way this creepy kid could know about the siblings' secret. No way at all.
He sighed. "Patricia and Elizabeth Thompson, you are wanted by the DWMA."
The blonde twitched. It took a second for two thoughts to shoot through her head: 1. This kid knew about them, and 2. He was going to arrest them.
All previous, tentative hints of fear shot up like they had been given an amplifier.
Liz shrieked and took off, ignoring the boy's desperate shout of, "WAIT!" behind them.
