A woman stood wit her son and daughter. All three were fully aware that this was goodbye. After this, they would never be together again. The woman's son resembled her. They had the same blonde hair and violet eyes. Her daughter was completely different. She had fox-colored hair and animal-like eyes that were almost yellow.
"Flight 79, boarding first class," the PA said.
"Natsumi, Tamaki, I….."
"It's alright," her son, Tamaki, said.
Her daughter, Natsumi, remained silent. She was different from her family in France. She was more like her father in Japan. Natsumi was introverted. Tamaki and Adrienne reached out to assist strangers while Natsumi would stand back and watch. They were loved by most people they met. Their sparkling personalities were almost visible. Natsumi's darker personality hung over her almost like a cloud.
"I'll miss you both. I love you." Adrienne pulled her children into a tight hug. Natsumi squirmed. "Firefox…." Her daughter's nickname stung at her already wounded heart. "Tamaki," she whispered in her son's ear. "Take care of your sister."
"We have to go," Firefox told them. A feeling of betrayal was showing in her eyes. The brother and sister walked onto the plane. Tamaki gave a final glance to the woman who had raised him and his sister. Firefox boarded the plane that would take her away from France, her homeland, and never looked back.
