A Touch of Sun

The sea was wide and deep and blue,

Shone with a pleasant, sparkling hue.

He moved along his small ship's deck,

As he sailed by wind's call and beck.

Monsters splashed into the fray,

He beat them and went on his way.

Islands found, and then charted,

Eventually, these lands departed.

Rupees gathered, chests were found,

Recovered from the ocean's ground.

Nothing could stop him on this day,

And so continued on his way.

And then the sun began to set,

No more riches for him to collect.

He pulled to Windfall Island near,

But started to have sense of fear.

His face, his neck, they felt afire,

Like a cyclone rose his ire.

He felt his skin, and felt pain earned,

"Damn," he said, "I've got sunburn."
