Pairing Hermione/Narcissa.
Hermione Weasley has a birthmark shaped similar to that of a marshmallow on her right hip. Narcissa Malfoy should not know this about the Muggleborn wife of a blood traitor, but she does.
There are a great many things that Narcissa shouldn't know about Hermione. Sometimes she wishes that she didn't know Hermione existed, oh how much easier her life would be if she didn't.
She loves Hermione so much it hurts and she thinks that younger witch loves her also. Yet both when their somewhat torturous entanglements are over they return to their husbands.
They pretend to be the supportive wives in public, but really the only reason that they are still married to their husbands is because neither has the guts to break their hearts.
So they have stolen moments together whenever they can and they tell themselves it is enough but both are lying.
Hermione is a surprisingly good liar when she puts her mind to it.
Narcissa has seen the way she turns on the sweet Gryffindor act in front of her husband and friends. It's a beautiful sight to see her lie through her teeth and not bat an eyelash about doing it.
Only Narcissa really knows the real Hermione, the dark parts of her that she can only let be free in Narcissa's presence.
Sometimes Narcissa wonders if Hermione had never experienced the horrors of war would that darkness exist in her. Would she have desperately sought out someone like Narcissa to fill a void in her life if she hadn't seen so much violence and death.
There are times when Narcissa thinks that Hermione and she would have always ended up together, then other times she thinks no it is certain events that led them to each other.
She's not sure of anything really apart from the fact she loves Hermione, her beautiful liar who has darkness burning in her soul.
In the end its only thing that matters is that she loves Hermione even though it hurts and all they have is precious stolen moments together.
She wishes for more than that of course she does, but she can't have it, nor will probably ever have it.
