Is This Really Happening?
She dreaded her way through the forest, she clenched onto her katana despite the cold which bit furiously at her hands. She knew what she had to do, and she knew she had to do it soon. Alert her eyes narrowed and she ran swiftly towards the noise produced behind a far off tree. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up as she heard a cackling so bone chilling. She stood fixed in place by merely fear.
"I se you have finally come…Sister…"
With the flutter movement of ones eyes, Saya woke up drenched in a cold sweat. She took in her surroundings; the dark forest still loomed over her dauntingly. Her crimson eyes widen as she groped around for her sword.
"Where is it?!" she franticly cried.
"Dear sister that was only a dream you had moments ago. Welcome to the true nightmare," the identical image of Saya laughed. But the only difference between this image and laughing was that the one laughing was the owner of crystal blue eyes. They were sparkling brightly to the mere thought of killing her sister.
"Diva, how dare you come back after all you have done!? You can still show your face to me?!?!" Saya spat out bitterly.
"I see you're still upset about that. You should really learn to people go, especially since they are dead." Diva said through a fit of giggles.
"You vile being!" Saya screamed as tears streamed down her face. "You had to kill everyone we both loved dearly?!?!"
"Love… Ha! Is it truly love, when it's you who had a life? You could do anything you pleased and see the world. I was locked in a tower for most of my life! I ate and slept there wondering is there truly anything beyond those concrete walls! Until that faithful day you freed me from that dreadful room. You were simply in awe of my singing. But do you really want to know the truth? I didn't kill all of those people that night. It was Haji. The only one you truly loved killed all of those you loved," Diva stated evilly.
"Lies! That's all lies! Haji would never do that! That's it! None of this madness will end until you're dead!" Saya cried.
With that Saya lunged forward, her katana aim straight for Diva's heart. Saya missed as Diva dodged swiftly to avoid the blow. Diva drew out her sword and took her stance. The battle had just now begun.
The clanks and clashes of the swords went on and on, the bitterly hit each other sending loud shrieks of horror into the night sky. The two fought fiercely, sweat dripping down and making its mark. Both began to pant because the weariness started to take its toll on their bodies. They both grasped whatever energy they had left and channeled it into one final blow. They both ran towards each other aiming to kill one another. Then when cool metal met burning flesh, both sisters had stabbed each other. Sealing their own fate. Crimson began to slowly drip down from their own wounds, and both of them collapsed down to the floor. Smiling Diva removed the sword from her body and sauntered over to a spot under a tree. She gazed up into the night, and died as a tear streaked down her face. Saya sighed out of relief and stayed where she stood and smiled knowing that her promise of death was fulfilled…. She closed her eyes and the darkness took over.
Saya's eyes fluttered as she awoke from her dream. Haji near by came over and checked up on Saya. Her eyes widening in realization, she realized that her wish isn't fulfilled yet. Reality sunk in as she realized that she and Diva were still alive and so many others would get hurt….
