Another argument! Another day...He was very tired of this. every month there was a new ball. A new dance. Princesses from all over would come and try to court for his hand. Finally he struck a deal with his mother. One last ball, only of the eligible women of this kingdom could come. He knew his mother would never approve him marry a peasant..or he thought. It was done. His mother said. He could have any one he wanted. and if he did not find love. they would arrange a marriage for him. It was intolerable! He loved all bodies and people but he knew in his heart he wanted love. true love above all else. He had stormed from the castle, easily avoiding his mothers guards. Dressed like his people he was able to get some peace in the crowded market. He did this a lot more then he visited as the prince. He walked among the people he loved and served. He even saw the posters up already. "Prince Francis is giving a ball!" He groaned ripping it down for his own satisfaction. He did not want in 42 hours he'd be married one way or another to someone he did not love. With a heavy sigh he continued. Plucking the petals from a flower as he walked not minding anyone. As he pulled the last petal he made a wish that he would find his true love. He also collided first hand with someone walking. At first he wanted to get offended HOW DARE THEY but he soon remembered he was not the prince in these clothes. Francis looked upon the face of the person who fell to the ground and was captured by striking features. Tan skin with golden hair. The man was model of beauty if there were one. He had pink lips and full cheeks, a chiseled chin and thin spectacles that framed his face perfectly. He instantly offered his hand to the other and apologized helping him up. The other only smiled and claimed it was his fault. " Please allow me to buy you something to make up for the trouble I've caused you" Francis offered trying to spend more time with this beauty.

Ever since the news for the ball had come up, Arthur had told Alfred they had to go. Had to get new clothes new everything. He had to be prettied up, had to act like a man, had to do everything Arthur wanted him to do. Ugh he hated it. He had just been at the tailor, getting a new suit, something that would help him impress the royal family, not because he was going to woo the prince, simply because he had to make a good impression, only because him and Arthur had to get a spot at the court and this would be the perfect chance. How he hated it. Arthur wanted so much from him. Wanted him to be everything, but he couldn't really complain could he? Arthur was like a father for him. As the tailor had finished his clothing he got permission to walk around the marked for a while, or at least until Arthur was finished with whatever. He took the opportunity and left in a hurry. In such a hurry that he walked into someone and fell to the ground. How typical, and now Arthur would kill him for getting his clothes dirty. "fuck" he muttered and excused himself to the stranger. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you. " he said and let the other help him to his feet again. He simply dismissed the others apologies and smiled "no no, it's me, haha I didn't see where I was going". The other instantly offered to buy him something to make up for the trouble he caused. Alfred was struck. The man sure looked like a fine man, but even so he couldn't ask so of a stranger. "oh, no. I can't ask that. " however he was tempted to ask for food, but no, Arthur would never let him walk alone again if he heard he misused a stranger for food. "I'm fine, really" he smiled.

"at least let me do something to make it up to you." Francis insisted, wrapping his arm around the other and pulling him along. "come tell me about yourself as you think about what it is you would like. Moi is always up for making new friends." he smiled strolling along with the other in toe. His company seemed very apprehensive, kept looking down. Francis sighed and stopped them in front of the bakers shop. " How about a small treat then? " It sounded like a question but he was already dragging the other inside along with him and ordering some fresh rolls they could eat. Sitting and waiting he finally got the other to look him in the face " What is your name mon ami? your accent is also not from here," It was then he noticed how finely Alfred was dressed. like a young lord but the man was still too young in face and he knew all members of the court. One face did pop into his mind. the English man of his court. Many people from over the world sent ambassadors. many stayed within the palace, others owned their own lands and only ventured back home to deliver their reports. Arthur was the only Englishmen though. This boy must be from his home. His ward then. He smiled at that thought it'd mean he'd see this man again though it also reminded him why he did not want to marry so soon. his thoughts had taken him and he had not even heard the others name and their rolls had arrived. They ate in silence a bit, then he heard that grating English voice " ALFRED?!" He would be saddened their time was cut short but it did help him learn the others name since he wasn't paying attention the first time. "Ah our time is over. It's been a pleasure. I hope to learn more about you next time. until then. " he kissed Alfred's hand with a wink, not wanting to be caught by someone who knew his face like Arthur he was quick to leave out a back window.

Alfred was struck by the way the stranger took care of him. He still thought that he had to apology, and make up for Alfred's mistakes. If he always reacted like this he should be a poor man. But to be honest; he didn't mind. A little time off from all the business talk with Arthur was always good. So he followed the stranger without complaining, however he didn't speak and didn't really answer the strangers questions. For many reasons, one; it wasn't any of his business, two; he didn't like just talking and giving away who he was to everyone. Every time he said "Alfred" people always knew he was "that kid of Arthur's" or whatever they told one another. He didn't mind, Arthur had a big name so people always gave him respect, because they were afraid if they messed with him Arthur would do his 'magic' at the court and somehow they would end in jail. When in reality it was always the other way around. Alfred always had to respect other people, unless they were under him, then he just had to look important. It gave him a bad taste in the mouth. Together they walked to a bakers shop. A lovely little shop, the stranger ordered some rolls for the two of them, and there they sat, eating in silence. The rolls were good though. Before Alfred could thank the other, he heard Arthur call his name, he growled. But suddenly the stranger jumped to his feet, thanked for their time together and kissed his hand and left in a hurry. Alfred pulled his hand to himself, and as the stranger left he sighed and walked outside to meet with Arthur "I'm here, Arthur. "

Arthur was irritated to find Alfred eating in the bakers shop, covered in dirt. " What in the world happened to you boy!?" He shouted scrunching his eyes. " No matter, the suits will be ready by tomorrow night's ball. Lets get you home and cleaned up. Then we're going right into your studies. You still have no clue how to behave at a social gathering such as this and I will not have you embarrassing me!" He declared escorting them both back to the their carriage to be driven home. Arthur fumed as he watched the younger sulk. " Gentlemen do now slouch" he said hitting Alfred back with his appointment book. He kept watch to make sure he sat up straight the rest of the ride home. Of course as soon as they were their the boy stormed off in a fit. " I swear that boy will be the death of me!." Arthur followed in a more noteworthy fashion. "Alfred? Where did you go now?" he found the boy already in his room changing. Arthur blushed and shut the door. " Lock the door next time git! I'll meet you in the office for your lessons don't' be late!" He really did not know what to do with the boy. He had begged to join Arthur to every other ball but finally Arthur broke down and is letting him but now he chooses to act like he does not even care.

How he hated this. He tried to explain what happened and why he was at the bakers shop, but Arthur broke him off before he could even do so. If he had known going to a ball would be this tiring he would have never asked Arthur. And after all he had hoped he could have gone on his own, dressed like /he/ wanted to, do what /he/ wanted to do and get social the way /he/ wanted to. But no, since Arthur allowed him to come to the ball he had to make a good impression so he could get a place in the court. The fuck, why couldn't Arthur just leave him be for a few minutes. He was getting used to the way Arthur told him to straightening his back or anything similar, so when Arthur hit Alfred in the back he simply did as the man pleased before he slowly sulk down again. He was looking out the window of the carrier, looking at the people. some of the rich people were hurrying to get good clothing, while the poor ladies begged the richer for money so they could even afford some kind of good clothing. Everyone wanted to get married to the prince. He could understand why, but at what he had heard from Arthur; the prince was simply nothing more than a stupid kid. Or something like that. But what did he know. When they arrived at home he hurried out and into the house the change clothes. better get this off or else he would be lectured once again. He was stopped though. As he was taking off his clothes Arthur just entered the room, he left in a hurry though. He never understood Arthur. "lock the door" he mumbled to himself, "well as I remember it's my room. So you just need to learn how to knock." he changed to something more appealing before he sat down on the bed. A small smile covered his face before he got all flustered. Someone had actually kissed his hand today. A very fine gentleman had taken the time to treat him well and end everything by kissing him. Ah, what was he thinking. He was a man, and men shouldn't be happy about such things. However he couldn't help but be.

Alfred rose and left the room to meet Arthur in the office. Once again. "Arthur can't we just let it pass today? There's no use for this."

Arthur was cleaning up his office, thinking about how he was going to pass this boy off as a proper gentlemen in front of the court. He was already looked down at by that childish playboy of a prince! If the queen wasn't so charmed by his tricks and words he was sure the prince would of thrown him out demanding a new ambassador for the British. As it were he was still in some high standing and Alfred would be the ambassador for the newest part of the empire. He was suppose to be teaching the boy after taking him on as a ward. The boy was stubborn! Always hanging with the gypsy and the thespians. Arthur loved the arts but knew that people of his and Alfred's class were above them! He scowled when he heard the door open. finally they could get some work done. He was about to open the book when Alfred spoke out about not wanting to do this. "Alfred you are the one who begged me to let you come this time! You agreed to this teaching and uugh" He clutched his hand on the book. He still had tomorrow. the ball lasted from night fall at 6 till 2 in the morning. that left him with plenty of time tomorrow before hand to maybe get the boy in shape.. " Fine. You have behaved for most of the morning. You can have tonight off. BUT remember boy if you do not study tomorrow morning, and prove you can do this. I will NOT let you attend this ball. "

He was about to just thank Arthur and leave the room however he stopped in his track, stood still for a moment before leaving. You behaved well for most of the morning, well actually he had been good for all of the morning. he didn't do anything wrong. And If he had known Arthur would have teach him this crap he would never have said yes to so. He still didn't understand why he had to be an ambassador, he didn't want to. He stopped at the door and the words actually spilled out his moth "but why do I have to study? " he knew the answer 'because you're going to have a part in the court', but why. He never asked for this. Yes he was Arthur's ward but really. Had he no saying in this? Apparently not. He stood still for a moment, ready to hear Arthur scold him, or anything similar. He never really questioned Arthur before, did he? Just simply followed like a good son would have done. even though he wasn't his son, never would be, so why would he have to do as Arthur said? Argh, it didn't matter. "never mind" he mumbled to himself, rubbing the back of his neck.

Even though Arthur dismissed him he said something that definitely put Arthur on edge. He did not answer at first though. Alfred knew. He spend the better part of 7 years teaching the boy why! Finally he turned stalking towards the young man gripping his chin. "When i found you. You were a 11 year old boy on the streets of the colony's. You begged for money then stole my wallet. I could of had you hanged. I saw a fire in your eyes and your potential. and raised you! I have done everything to make sure you had a standing in life! My- OUR queen even decided you to be the ambassador of the colonies when you came of age! This is an honor for you! Many would kill to be in your shoes and all you do is whine and cry and beg just like the pathetic peasant you use to be...Maybe i should of left you there. No. I do love you Alfred. I have for many years loved you as a father. and I only want what is best for you. Now go enjoy your day off before I change my mind. " He released Alfred's chin slapping his cheek not hard enough to leave a mark but a warning of what could be. "Oh and Never talk back to me again." He left Alfred standing there after that. He was going to go grab a drink and calm himself down.

"yeah maybe you should have" Alfred mumbled to himself and stormed off to his room and locked the door, making sure that Arthur had no way to enter. He took the nearest vase and smashed it into the wall in pure rage. This wasn't what he wanted in life. Sure many would kill to be in his shoes, but as he remembered he was happy when Arthur found him. No don't get him wrong, he had some really good years with Arthur. When he was younger he remembered Arthur taking him to the theater, teaching him about drama, about play. About something so interesting, so wonderful. But as he got more of age, Arthur stopped doing so. only thinking about teaching him to become a right man, and not wasting time with plays or drama. not wasting time around lower class people, not wasting time being him. He threw himself on the bed, how he would wish that Arthur could just treat him as he had once done, that Alfred could actually be the person he used to be, and not... this. This made him think about earlier that day, when the stranger had bought him to the bakers shop, that they had just been there eating, not really talking but still enjoying one another company. Ah how he would love doing that more often. Take a few minutes off school and enjoy something from the locals and not some fancy restaurants or the servants. He sighed.

Matthew was walking by when he heard the fight from Arthur and Alfred wasn't even a real fight just Arthur getting angry as usually. He sighed. He had been friends with Alfred for years. Arthur brought them both along with a few other orphans to be give up for adoption in England. Alfred begged for Arthur to adopt Matthew too but in the end Matthew was taken in by friends of Arthur's who owned the theater hall in France. Of course Arthur took up more permanent residency here as well. Matthew didn't mind. He had plenty of experience now and specialized in make up. making men look injure or hurt. making them look like monsters and savages. and of course making them look like women. Considering no women were allowed to participate. Which he personally did not like but laws are laws. He also was more or less, by decree of Arthur. Technically Alfred's servant more then his friend. Though Alfred would never say he wasn't his friend. Matthew was glad for that at least. As someone who always works behind screens. Alfred never let him feel like he was. He smiled tapping on Alfred window. knowing the door to be locked. He waved beckoning Alfred to sneak out with him. He knew what would cheer his friend up. Alfred loved the theater as much as him. If Arthur's queen never sent that letter saying Alfred would become an ambassador too then Matt knew everything would be better as it were.. he still knew what to do when things got bad. " Hey come down. There's a play tonight for the children since they're upset about not going to the ball. come be the princess. It'll be fuuun~" He smiled. they always did plays for the children for free. they were low production but he knew Alfred loved to see their faces when the princess was the hero and the prince was saved.

Alfred was about to sleep, but heard something by his window, he didn't even need to look before he knew who it was. Matthew, it was like he knew overtime Alfred was upset. He went over and opened the window, smiling wide as his friend greeted him. Matthew were one of his best and only real friend. Ever since Matthew had been adopted by ones that own the theater he had been learning how to do make-up. this benefit both of them, Alfred had the secret pleasure that he liked to dress as a woman, and Matthew was just the man to help him with that. Alfred had some dresses of his own even, however they were hidden over at Matthew's place, because if Arthur saw them, Alfred would never get peace again. "Really? Fuck yes, I would love to! I'll be down in a minute!" Alfred said and changed clothing in a rush, something more normal and not as formal looking. Matthew had the power to make Alfred look like a different person, that was the only reason why he did this, if the kids knew they would tell, and soon the city would know that 'Alfred, ward of Arthur dressed as a girl', for him it didn't matter but for Arthur it would. When he was finished changing he left and joined Matthew. "So, what's the play about? The princess saving the prince, or the princess having the choose a prince? Or, what's in mind?" he had a burning passion for this, and if he had a say, he would rather spend his life like this than being ambassador.

Matthew was chuckling as they snuck off through the back streets towards the theater which was lit up for the kids. " It's one of your favorite.s Beauty and the beast! we haven't done this play in years since the beast costume got destroyed n that fire but the prince had stopped by today and personally brought new supplies! I always heard he loved the arts but to think he personally brought them is amazing. I didn't get to see him though. Here this way. I'll show you something special. This dress was his mothers when she was our age! look at it" He held up the silver gown laces with gold. It was beautiful to say the least. looked like the sunset. It wasn't the dress belle would wear though but Matthew had already gotten permission to give it to Alfred for his personal collection. " It's for you. you need something to cheer you up." He smiled at the look on his friends face. He was so pleased. Matthew set to work also showing Alfred the new belle dress that looked just as lovely. they still had to use the old pauper belle dressed before she turned into the lovely princess who saves the beast from Gaston at least that was the version they told. after they hugged Matthew set Alfred in the chair and worked a miracle Alfred told him only he could do. Wig added, brown didn't suit Alfred really but Matthews makeup skills made him look as if he'd been this lovely dainty maiden all his life. He pointed Alfred in the mirror and smiled. Alfred truly was glowing when he was like his. he was beautiful even Matthew could admit he looked stunning as either gender. " Now to the stage. We have a special guest to play our beast I heard~"

They reached the theater and Alfred listened to the story Matthew told him "really? I never heard the prince do such thing. I mean, I would of have thought he would be to busy, doing the things a prince do. But that's cool, I love beauty and the beast!" he cheered, it was a play that held a special place i his heart. The first play he watched, as a kid, and the first play he watched with Arthur. He loved the story, he loved everything about it. It was such a sweet story, and thereby he loved playing the princess. As they entered and Matthew showed him the dress the prince gave them, he was stunned. "it's beautiful. But, are you sure? It belonged to the queen. I couldn't possible take such a fine gift, no matter who it might be from!" he said but accepted the dress anyhow, gave his friend a hug before they continued with the play. Matthew did his make-up, made him look beautiful as ever. How Matthew never failed to help him, or cheer him up. "thank you, Matt. And oh? You know why?" he asked but didn't wait around for a reply, he just left and entered the stage.

Matthew didn't answer that the person playing the beast was the prince himself. His mother did the princes's makeup. mostly because Matthew did everyone else's. Of course Madeline was the one who taught Matthew everything and was amazing as well. She was just getting old and it was harder for her to do as much. Still even if he never saw the prince he wouldn't recognize him now. The children had already sat through the opening where the witch cursed the prince so he was well under makeup and a mask now. it was now Alfred's turn. Matthew stood at the edge of the stage narrating from that point on. " After the prince was cursed he locked himself away in his castle. over time they were forgotten. several years later a young woman and her father moved into the town. Her father was a very wealthy merchant who had fallen on hard times. soon he used his brain to make things instead becoming an inventor in hopes of salvaging his trade once more. it didn't work and often his daughter did jobs to keep her and her father fed. Finally her father made an amazing invention! it would save farmers lots of time and money! and he was off to sell it! no one in the town believed him of course. leaving Belle to fend off the marriage proposal from the towns hero by herself. Gaston was not a bad man but a selfish one. and he wanted belle to himself. for only she was as beautiful as him. " From there the actors took over, starting with belle saying good bye and then Gaston coming up and demanding her to marry him.

Mean while a drunk man had stumbled in at the back too dark for Matthew to see who, he wouldn't kick him out of the free show unless he made a scene. this was for the kids after all!

Alfred entered the scene, proud to do this once more. He loved the kids reactions to these stories, and to how he was acting. Many kids came up to him after the show even to, ask how a woman was allowed to play, who he really was, if he was a woman, or what happened. He never told anyone who he was, simply told the kids that, he was someone with a dream and he had friends who could help him achieve these dreams. Or something those lines. He focused on the play, telling off Gaston, telling him she didn't want to marry him. He knew the story so well, that he could live into the role without reading a script first. The show went on as it used to, the kids cheering or frowning depending on the situation. Alfred was happy, it was nice to finally get away for a bit, and just relax in his own way. He himself had noticed the drunk man in the back, but didn't react on it. Well he couldn't, since he was in a play. And really it didn't bother him all that much, as long he just didn't say anything or annoy anyone he was fine with it.

Matthew continued to narrate. " Gaston begged, though he'd never admit it, how much he wanted belle. what he would do to win here. as he tore away her favorite book from her and. She did not care for him one bit after that. Telling him off she stormed away. leaving him to sulk in the middle of town declaring to himself no one rejected him!"

Francis was watching from the corner of the stage behind Matthew. He had a while still til his time. He was so happy that his mother let him do this. It had been one of his favorite plays. True love was the entire center of the story. true love could save anyone. and he honestly believe it thanks to this story. To play the beast was fun as well. he'd get to yell and be rude. unlike normal self. as for the play he was enraptured by the beauty! she had stunning features and blue eyes that seemed to glow almost! she captured his attention just as quick as Arthur's ward had in the streets. Maybe it was just the weight of his impending marriage but he hoped to see her at the ball. it wasn't til they were almost at his part did he remember. women weren't allowed in the theater. even a group like this had to stick by the laws and these make up artist were something far above. He studied the features more. maybe just maybe but before he could really concentrate on it he was pushed out to the scene where belle first meets the beast. He stood in silence waiting for his cue. "So, you've come to taunt the beast have you!? Like him? Why have you come to my castle? LEAVE OR FACE IMPRISONMENT LIKE THAT MAN!"

It didn't take Alfred long to realize who the beast was. It was easy to see up close, or he thought he knew the man, but he wasn't really sure. But as a professional he just let it slip, and spoke his lines. It was fun, meeting a new beast, it was still the same play, yet it felt so different so alive every time he played it. "please let me take his place. Let my father go, and take me instead!" Alfred spoke. It sounded like he was almost crying, like the real belle would have done. The play went as expected. The beauty and the beast started living together, starting spending time together and slowly fell in love. Now it was soon time for the scene for them to dance. Alfred had never been a good dancer, so this was really not the part he liked the most. He was clumsy on his feet and it was easily given away if the other wouldn't be good as well. However he hoped for the best. Quickly he left to change to the beautiful dress that belle where going to wear during this scene. "This isn't going to be good" he whispered to himself as he took on the dress he was going to wear, and then he stormed off to the stage again.

The person was absolutely stunning when they met eyes for the ball scene. If Francis didn't know better he'd say he'd fallen upon an angel. He hoped this lovely vision was at his ball tomorrow as well. If he had to spent a life time with someone he didn't love he' rather it be someone he had a small connection with at least. Maybe he could get to know her after the play. He hoped so. " Belle..you look..wow.." the lamp slap him and he growled before taking Belle's hand and the music begun. He could see her nervousness and leaned in to whisper " Just lean on me, it will be easier mon cherie." He helped the other to find a good rhythm with his leading. He could hear the kids in the audience some giggling and some booing at how lovey dovey they were. The ball scene was a success. he forgot his line but no one notice because he said words from the heart " You're a divine dancer." After that the play took it's usual route. the love, belle running to save her father. the towns people fighting into the castle. Beast and Gaston's final show down. Beast's "death" finally. The stage rain washing away his make up like it's suppose to, and the mask had been taken off in the fight but the fast movement meant to hide that and his cape hid his face till the rain washed it enough and he suppose to magically come back to life. He smiled looking up " Belle.. I'm.." he smiled drawing her into a kiss. He heard Matthew narrating the last of the story about belle and beast marriage but Francis wasn't paying attention. The moment their lips touched there was a shock. Like fireworks igniting in his stomach he looked up to see his "belle" with the same face. Lucky for them the stage lights were turned off so the kids couldn't see how surprised they were at the kiss. Though it also seemed like "Belle" was shocked for another reason.

As the scene was over and Alfred was ready to leave stage he broke the kiss and left without a word to beast. He had not agreed upon a real kissing scene, ever since the start of this he had always been doing fake kisses, it was awkward at time but it looked more than real from the audience perspective. Alfred left beast and went over to Matt who had also left the stage by now "that was one, just what i needed. Thank you for inviting me to this once more" he smiled and put his arm around his friend. I would love to this again tomorrow, sadly I can't. He shook his head and was ready to change when he remembered 'beast' was still here, he never changed back to his usual self when other actors was still around. So he sat down in a chair a little clumsy due to the dress but he simply relaxed. He still wasn't 100% sure who beast was supposed to be, or well when the mask came off he knew. He knew damn well, it was that stranger he met earlier the same day. What's the odds? That he meet the same man, twice and then he even kiss him, twice.

Francis let belle run off, sighing as he laid back down on the stage. He hadn't meant to run the poor girl off. But there was no denying it. His heart was thumping in his chest. This girl was something special already and he'd only known her for an hour! He stood up and followed them back behind stage to the dressing rooms. Most had left already. him Matthew and Belle were still here. It seemed the belle more or less was hiding in the farther back room. He was stopped by Matthew who knew who he was. He hadn't hidden it from Madeline or Matthew since they owned the theater. " Bonjour Matthieu. I wish to know who that vision was who played Belle.?"

Matthew was shocked himself to see the prince still here not going back home to clean up the last dirty makeup. but None the less here he was following..Alfred...oh no! Matthew had stopped him bowing quickly " Your high" he was shushed" Francis.." He said standing back up. The prince didn't want Alfred hearing he was well a prince. " Al...Amelia is very shy girl she doesn't want to be disturbed. please she is a very dear friend of our family. "

"Amelia.." Francis chuckled at the name. He met two stunning people who's name both start with A..They looked similar too.. and no women are truly allowed to be in the play even if they work stage hand.. He'd have to wait and see then. He bowed taking his leave but spoke loud enough he hoped this Amelia could heard. " Tell my dear Belle Amelia I understand but dearly hope to see her at the prince's ball tomorrow" He gave Matthew a wink, to receive a scowl as if a brother protecting a sister. He chuckled taking his leave.

As soon as Prince Francis left Matthew let out a giant breath he didn't' know he was holding before rushing over to let Alfred know it was ok to come out. " Al? Hey it's me. He's gone." He had seen the real kiss of course knowing it to be Alfred's first real kiss was worried about the other dearly. To think Prince Francis..was interested in him was infuriating. Alfred was strong but he couldn't handle this kind of thing. Alfred was a free spirit! and Francis was suppose to find a wife...A WIFE! If he thought Alfred was a girl..oh no "no." but Alfred really does want to go to that ball.. to be beautiful and just one night be a princess he dreams of being outside the stage.. Matthew knows he wants to help Alfred achieve his dreams. They're family at this point he'd support him no matter what. He was brought out his thoughts by Alfred coming out of the closet. already undressed except for his make up which Matthew smiled softly at and promptly helped him get ready to return home before Arthur found out.

"To think that, i don't know his name, would do such a thing! This is theater after all, just.. kissing someone like that... who do he even think he is? ugh" Alfred complained as soon Matthew told him the other had left. Never had he kissed anyone before, not even girls. Reasons where simple. One; Arthur wouldn't let him do such a 'reckless' thing without being married and two; he didn't want to, at least not until he knew a person more personal and liked them! He started changing clothes again, it was always sad to leave the stage and go back to being Alfred again. The main that had to do Arthur's every bedding. He loved the stage, he could be whoever he wanted, and no one would even know it was him. He could be able to live the dream he always wanted, but a show always comes to an end. "This dude wanted me at the ball tomorrow? He must be in the court like Arthur then" he never seen the prince before, and thereby didn't know that it was him. So naturally he believed this man to be someone of high ranks, since he was asking 'belle' the the ball. He finished changing, and let Matthew help with his make-up so within long he was back to normal. "Thank you for tonight, Matt. I probably won't be over tomorrow, since I have to study. Oh, and you keep that dress for me, right?" he smiled but didn't wait for an answer before he stormed off. He'd already been away for a long time so he better hurry home.

Matthew just nodded happy to see his friend in a better mood even if the prince had upset him. A part of him..could kind of see them being good friends if both of them didn't hide themselves. He just shook his head and finished closing the theater. As he was turning off the lights he noticed the drunk man still sitting at the back and with a heavy groan he went back to tell him to fuck off. Of course the moment he pointed his lantern at the man He knew instantly who it was!..Arthur drunk and passed out with a creepy smile on his face. Matthew did not want to know but it gave Alfred a fair chance to get back home. He'd wait a bit before walking Arthur and sending him back. He heard the man mumbling. "mmm Belle.. yes hehe" Matthew REALLY did not want to know after that and just left. Arthur could find his way home in the morning! He'd come in here drunk before he knew the way..
