She steadily knocked on the door with a big smile across her lips. Hearing the stomping heading to the door, she clenched the plastic bag in her grasp. The door swung open revealing the black haired women, cheerful as ever welcoming her in. She wore causal clothing, polkadot tank top and shorts as the other wore jeans and a plain white t-shirt. They exchanged hellos while she slipped off her shoes and placed them gently next to the rest. She grinned widely as she hopped into the next room and right onto the couch. The other sighing in distress, following along.
It was a cool spring day. Saturday to be exact. Everyone was finished with their entrance exams and were settling down with a calm weekend. Both thought it would be relaxing to just sit around and possibly watch a movie. It's been a month or so since they started dating and all hell was going to break lose when they started their day together.
The amber haired women shuffled around in the bag, pulling out several snacks. Meat buns and sweets, a few bottles of flavored waters, placing them on the coffee table in front of her. The other women sitting next to her pointing to the food, "you only got snacks," she remarked. She put her thumb up and smiled, "I know!" She shook her head, obviously angered.
"You brought the movie?"
"No? I thought you were picking it out!"
"Ritsu," she grumbled ready to wail her as the brunette laughed.
"I'm kidding," she pulled the awful looking DVD from the bag, "I picked something perfect!" Though, to Mio, it was far from perfect. She handed it over and before long, the film started. It started off , the beginnings of movies are usually slow and that's just how it was. Until the horror began. The ravenette women jumped, clinging onto her girlfriend's shoulder, tears forming in her eyes. She laughed, "did you see that, Mio, that was so fake," she exclaimed. She could tell that the girl was petrified and tried to calm her down, though, the movie went on.
"That movie wasn't that good," she complained at the end of it all. The credits began to roll as the other stood up and stretched.
"You're the one that picked it out."
"The title really pulled me in," she replied, sprawling out along the sofa. The tall, slender women sighed, "ugh, Ritsu," she muttered, "I'm going to make something to eat, something that isn't a snack," she glared at the child like girl, then began again, "can you help?" Ritsu flailed her limbs, grabbing the closest pillow and hugging it tightly, "but I'm so comfortable," she groaned. She crossed her arms over her chest, upset, "stop acting like a child and come on," she demanded.
"Mio-chawn," she whimpered, looking at her partner with pleading eyes. She groaned, "you're so lazy, Ritsu," yelling at the brunette. She bounced up quickly, furrowing her brow, "am not," she barked back.
"You're so helpless and childlike, you're unbelievable!"
"Uh uhh! I brought food today, and I pay for dates!"
"Rarely," she made hand gestures before placing her hands to her sides, "I am always paying for our lunch dates, and I'm always making dinner for you." Ritsu leaned in, "I help," she complained. Mio shook her head slowly, "sometimes," turning away from her lover. She gripped the tail of her t-shirt, with her head to the ground, "Mio, I don't know what to say. I'm sorry." She shook her head, "you're awful," she sniffled.
"Are you crying," she asked, placing her hand on the girl's shoulder. She raised her hand, wiping her palm against her cheek as she grit her teeth. She squeezed on her shoulder whispering her name sympathetically, "listen, Mio, I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry. I really do try." She leaned in, basically on the tips of her toes, "I love you, you know," she mummbled, her face heating up, her heart beating faster and faster each second that passed. She quickly turned around, her lips meeting her partners unexpectedly. They broke for air, the taller women, flipping her hair, her face bright as a tomato. The other was stunned but made an effot to make a grin and laugh.
"Idiot," Mio grunted, shly turning away, frown plastered on her lips. The amber haired girl pressed her tumbs against the girls face, forcing her to smile, "you're not gonna say it back," she exclamined. She glanced down, then back up, "I-I love you, Ritsu," she stuttered. The headbanded girl pinched the women's cheeks, cute, she thought.
"Will you help me make something to eat now," she demanded. Ritsu hesitantly laughed, her eyes drifting away, "I-I guess."
Mio grunted, "Ritsu."
A/N I sorta gave up in the end, and I'm not good at titles, but I hope you liked it, R&R!
