Spider-Dog

While Peter Parker was at a science fair a lost golden retriever ran inside the building and knocked Peter down, licking him until Peter laughed. Then a spider, that was supposed to bite Peter, landed on the little mutt's back. The spider bit him and the dog yelped. Peter looked at him to see what was wrong. The dog ran outside and started scratching. The dog must have thought it was a flea and started living his normal life on the streets.
While crossing a street, a car came screeching towards him almost hitting him. The dog leaped out of the way and landed on the wall. The dog started to whimper as he climbed the wall nervously. When he got to the top, he started wagging his tail. Every time he did, web shot out of his butt and hit a cat. Happy with his new powers, he swung to building to building, lost control and just happened to fall and land on Peter.
"Hey, you're that dog I ran into at the fair!" Peter said petting him. The dog started wagging and started shooting web again. "Amazing! You're like a Spider-Dog! You could be very useful to this city!" Peter named him Lucky, because he was lucky to have powers, made him a Spidey-like dog costume and kept him as a pet. He trained him to capture bad guys and fight. Yet the dog wasn't good at swinging of course. Peter followed him around, and took pictures for the Daily Bugle as everyone read his article and became fans of the amazing Spider-Dog!

Jumps higher then a frog
Spins web out his butt
More then your average mutt
Look out, here comes spider-dog
Can he swing? No he can't
But he's stronger then an ant
Does he bite? It depends
Rather you're a foe or friend
Be nice, it's Spider-Dog
Hear a howl in the night
He's at the scene of the crime
He doesn't wear tights
But he is always on time

Friendly backyard Spider-Dog
Peter Parker is his best friend
Always together 'till the end
To him, life is a giant tree-bark
Whenever you hear a bark
You'll find Spider-Dog!
Peter woke up in shock. What a crazy dream! "There's only one Spider-man!" Peter said as he put on his costume and swung away to fight crime. Near-by, a lost golden retriever followed behind him.
