A/N: Hey everyone It's Zutara day 2! ^^ Today's theme is History.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything.
Katara was nervous per say when driving up to Zuko's, her best friend's, house after school that day. She shouldn't be so nervous but she couldn't help it. It isn't like they haven't been alone before, right? So she shouldn't be like this then. Shaking her head she pulled into Zuko's driveway. Noticing the house which was simple, but huge she turned off the car. The house was red with black outlining, and when she went up to the door it was opened right away revealing Zuko. His short black hair was a mess and his amber eyes started intensely at her.
"Hello lovely." He softly smiled at her. A smile which was for her and her only. Smiling back at him she stepped inside and asked.
"Where are we studying today?" She turned towards him her brown hair flowing down her back in the ponytail it was captured in, her blue eyes directed at him.
"In the living room or my room?" He was hinting at his room but Katara would have none of that.
"The living room is fine." She grinned and walked towards the room, she knew the house very well. Since in her times here, she had been in almost every room and hallway of the house, causing her to have a mental map. Walking into the cream colored room with black sofas, she took a seat. Zuko came in a couple minutes afterwards in his blue tank top and jeans carrying two glasses of water. She smiled. "Thanks"
"You're welcome. So do you have the history books?" He asked while sitting next to her.
"Yeah that's why I am here in the first place." She teased.
"Hey. It isn't my fault Mr. W hates me and is failing me." Zuko muttered defending himself.
"Yeah it is. You don't do the homework and that is why you're failing."
"But," He grinned at her, his eyes connecting with hers. "That's why your here."
Katara huffed. "Is that all you think of me? Using me so you can pass?" She knew he wasn't, she turned her head. She really wanted to mess with him.
"Tara." He sighed. "You know you mean way more to me then a stupid history passer helper."
She turned to him and giggled. "And you know that didn't make sense."
"Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. Wait you're not offended." He glared slightly, but not meaning it at me.
"Maybe." She teased while opening the history book that was on her lap. "Where do you need to start?"
"I think the second week of the semester." He replied looking away.
"Seriously?" Katara asked him in disbelief. She knew he slacked but that much? This was going to take forever.
"Maybe I should just leave you to do this all by yourself. That might teach you something." Katara started to move the history book but then Zuko grabbed her wrist.
"Katara, please don't. I need help." He admitted.
"In what way?" She teased.
"Really? Really?" He leaned towards her while letting go of her wrist, and her breath caught. "So what do you say?
"I well...ummm I-" Katara stuttered.
"You're so cute." He mumbled looking at her, admiring her.
Katara blushed and looked down at her book. "Okay, back to history. Yes, history history, history."
"Katara." Zuko muttered a little hurt.
"Yes?" She looked up to him by mistake.
"You're beautiful."
"Thanks." She smiled at him.
Zuko pushed the history book away and leaned closer.
"Zuko?" She was cut off by him kissing her cheek then pulling away straight after.
"Now let's get back to the history stuff." He grinned picking up the book and moving away but still close enough to touch her leg with his
