Max POV

I was slouched over my keyboard, the side of my face pressed against the cool wood of my desk. My room was completely dark except for the blue glow from the computer. I lazily lifted my head to re-read the sad excuse for a conversation for the 60th time.

Nick Ride: Ugh why :'(

Max Martinez: :(( fang…

Nick Ride: yeah… :"(

Max Martinez: this sucks… :(

Nick Ride: …yep…

Max Martinez: help mee :(((

Nick Ride: …

Nick Ride: Ask who youre talking to for help

Max Martinez: or not :/

Nick Ride: he's better

Max Martinez: don't say that

Nick Ride: your talking to him aren't you

Max Martinez: not now…i…don't know what to do nick

Nick Ride: call your best friend if you think they can help

Max Martinez: huh?

Nick Ride: just call someone you know that can help you

Max Martinez: ugh…

And sadly enough it all took place on Fang's status where his whole 491 facebook friends could see it. Great. I continued to stare at his profile page but this time I was looking at his profile picture. It was of him and I at the park. Fang was laying in the sandbox, his elbows propped up behind him. I had my arms wrapped around his neck sitting behind him. Some of my blonde hair was laying on his shoulders contrasting with his black shirt. The black shirt I gave him. We were both smiling, Fang smirking more than smiling but it was the best picture of us. Iggy had taken it.

I was just emotionally drained and fell out of my chair. Not on purpose but not on accident either. I just layed there thinking about what a failure I was.

"Ahhhhh…" I screamed/whispered. How could this possibly get worse? The phone rang. I could feel in my being that this was EXACTLY how it could get worse.

"Hello?" I croaked into the phone.

"Max." I almost sighed when I realized it was Iggy, but kind of took it back when I thought that he was the one stuck in the middle of me and Fang's….dispute.

"Iggy. Help me please. What do I do?" I begged into the phone.

"I duno Max…you really screwed yourself this time. Fang isn't answering his phone to ANYONE, Im pretty sure he turned it off. As soon as he sees you or anyone that is in any way linked to you he leaves right away. And that includes ME. His best guy friend. That's the universal sign for "some girl has me seriously f'ed up man."

"Ahhh I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

"Good luck convincing him of that Max."

"GAHHHH…"

"Well, I can tell you and him have some serious soul searching to do so Imma talk to you later."

"Thanks Igg. Leave me in my time of need." But he had already hung up.

Ok. Iggy was a wise guy when he wanted to be so…soul searching. K…GAH I CANT DO THIS.

My dad had always said that when you want to figure something out back track and think things through from the beginning. I would do that. But it was such a long story I didn't think I could keep a detailed time line in my head.

So I decided I would write it down. I grabbed an old notebook and blue pen and began to write from the way, waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy beginning.

What do you think? Plz review
