Author's Note:
I'm kind of making my stories overtime, due to college. Ugh, I hope I can write as many stories as I can, before entering the gates of hell, I mean college. Again, this is a one-shot!
She wasn't sure, was he serious? Or, was he just playing with her, whatever the true reasons why he done that, her heart skipped a beat.
It was the last day of summer. Hinata was enjoying her day to be alone. She was sitting near the pond; the warm breeze of the air was causing her long, bluish hair to sway. The day was simply, perfect. She can hear the blue birds sing, enjoying freedom as well.
While Hinata was looking at her reflection at the water, she was surprised to see a tall handsome young man, standing beside her.
"Uchiha-san,What are you doing here?" She asked.
"It's a free world Hyuuga Hinata." He coldly said.
"Oh, alright." She muttered.
Sasuke was always cold at school, everywhere, he was cold to everyone. She doesn't know why, she never asked. He was always secretive; he never talks to anyone at school, maybe, one of the reasons why Uchiha Sasuke was the most poplar guy in school because of his mysterious onyx-eyes.
"You know what's weird?" He began to say.
She stared at him for a moment. "What is it?" she asked.
"For so long, I've been searching a place to find a little peace. But, I never thought that I could see you here." He said.
She didn't quite understand what Sasuke was trying to say, but, she smiled.
"At school, you were so cold at everybody, but, I'm starting to understand that, not everyday, you can judge the book by its cover, right?"
He stared at her. For a moment, there was silence.
"What do you think of me, Hinata?" he asked.
"I think that behind those eyes, a boy just wanted to be understood. You're misunderstood by everyone, right? For once, I wanted to understand you too." She said.
For the first time, she was able to express herself. But, never did she think that Uchiha Sasuke was the one that's listening. She'd thought that it will be Uzumaki Naruto or Kiba; nevertheless, she was happy that it was Sasuke.
"I honestly thought that this would just be an ordinary day." Sasuke said.
"But…"
Hinata stared at him in wonder. "But what?"
"You've just completed my day." He said.
She blushed furiously and stoops her head down.
"Oh..is the so? Well, I'm really glad that we could finally know each other better." She smiled.
He stood up. "Well, I'd better be going. It's getting dark, see you at school, or, do you want me to walk you home?" he asked.
"Um..Ano... I can walk myself. Our house is just a few blocks away." She said.
"Well then, see you at school, Hinata-chan." He said, walking away. "Thanks for the time."
She smiled. "See you at school, Sasuke-kun."
She looked at the sky. Indeed, that wasn't an ordinary day at all. It was perfect.
