New story. Happens right after iOMG.

Disclaimer: Until the purple ducks bring back my leather underwear, I don't own iCarly.

"Sorry." Sam mumbled.

" 's cool." Freddie responded softly. His mind was reeling right now. He felt like his head was going to spin off his neck at any minute. He couldn't sort through all the clutter to make sense of anything.

"Gonna clear head. Walk." Freddie said a few seconds later, motioning his head in the direction of the street.

"Kay." Sam mumbled as she turned to walk inside.

Freddie turned toward alley leading to the street. He glanced over his shoulder just in time to see blond curls bounce through the doorway.

"Pull it together, Freddie." He said, walking down the alley.

He made his way to the street. He didn't know how long this was going to take, figuring things out that is, but he knew it wouldn't be quick. But he knew that when the dust settles, he would have things figured out.

When he got out of the alley he paused, trying to decide which way to walk. If he walked right, he would walk through a nice neighborhood, but he would be walking towards his apartment. He took that route every day, so people would probably recognize him and want to talk. To the right was a slightly less nice neighborhood, but at least there would be less of a chance that someone would recognize him. He decided to take his chances and go left. He didn't want to run the risk of seeing someone he knew until he had figured out how he felt.

He walked a few blocks, just clearing his mind. Thying to forget about how the kiss with Sam was even more amazing than the last one that they had shared, or any that he had shared with anyone for that matter.

"Okay." Freddie thought out loud. He drew in a deep breath. "Sam doesn't actually hate me. She likes me. I think. Unless she's just messing with me." He suddenly stopped in his tracks at this realization.

While it was true that he didn't quite know how he felt, the thought that this could all be a prank tore him up inside. It made his stomach tie into knots just thinking of it. Then it hit him.

He heard a loud "BANG" from behind him, and felt a terrible pain in his back and chest. He collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain, and saw dust settle around him.

So that was chapter one.

If enough people review, I'll write another chapter.
