[ Scene opens with an extract from Dib's journal. A large photo of Zim dominates most of the second page, and underneath it in big, bold writing is the word ENEMY!!]

[ It's night time, the streets are deserted, and Dib is walking to Zim's house so that he can spy on him. Suddenly, trouble strikes and Dib is pulled into a dark alleyway.]

[ Dib struggles and tries to yell for help as the two thugs grin and push him up against the wall.]
But sooner or later it's over And I think that I might lose this fight
[ One of the thugs flicks out a large pocket knife.]

[ Two faintly glowing red eyes narrow in the shadows behind the thugs. The one holding the knife makes a move to stab Dib.]

[Suddenly Zim leaps out from the shadows and takes the two ruffians by surprise. Dib slumps to the ground in shock and watches the battle. After a short while the thugs run off screaming after seeing Zim sprouting his spider-legs.]

[Dib looks up to see Zim offering him a gloved hand. He hesitates, then grabs onto it. Zim helps him up.]

[ They reach Dib's house. Zim turns around and starts walking back down the street. Dib calls out for him to wait. Zim half turns and looks at him. They silently regard each other for a few seconds, then Zim starts walking away again.]
