This is a section of a story that will be up for voting. Let me know what you think.

The idea with this one is a best friend falling in love with his best friend. Said best friend has a boyfriend, complicating thigngs. Quite a hilarious plot.

"I love her more."

"How do you figure?"

"I just do."

"No. It's not possible. I'll always love her more."

"I don't believe you."

"You don't have too. That doesn't make it false."

He glared at me, trying to win this game he had created. I just stared back, and eventually he turned away. I could hear him mumbling and grumbling, no doubt trying to find something clever to say.

As if hearing my thoughts, he turned around to face me once more and said, "I love her more than you."

I just smiled slowly and shook my head. Then I replied, "I'm the best friend. I'll always lover her more than you could ever begin to feel or think. I have been through more of her life than you will ever get to experience. I am the one she runs to when she needs a strong arm to hang on. Or when she needs to vent."

He wasn't happy with that reply. I'd won the game. It pissed him off. He wanted to say more, to do more but instead he turned around and continued on with his work. I smiled to myself and looked down to the leaf of paper infront of me. I began to think of times before all this drama had started. When it was just her and I.

Alright. Let me know what you think!!
