A/N: So of course this is another oneshot! Once again I'm stretching my writing abilities… LMAO! This story is done to the JJ/Emily challenge on the song title prompt forum! So enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own CM or the song!
Prompt: My Best Friend – Weezer
Emily and JJ had decided they wanted a girl's night out. They had asked Penelope to join them but she had plans already and couldn't cancel them. Neither Emily or JJ wanted her to cancel them as it had taken forever for Pen and Derek to get their heads on straight and get together.
They were currently at the bar and sitting back and watching the younger set as they thought of the group out on the dance floor dancing and JJ said "God I don't ever remember dancing like that when I was that young."
Emily laughed. "Oh I have danced like that once or twice but never with another woman. I always danced with a guy like that."
JJ's eyes widened as she took a drink of her sex on the beach. "Are you serious Em? I so can't picture you doing something like that."
Emily quirked an eyebrow. "I was wilder when I was younger. Now days I tend to watch what I do."
JJ nodded. "I can understand that Em. So are you ever going to tell our boss that you are in love with him?"
Emily shook her head and then smirked. "I'll tell Hotch that I'm in love with him when you finally tell Rossi that you are in love with him."
JJ's mouth dropped open in shock. "I am not in love with David Rossi!"
Emily quirked an eyebrow and said "JJ everyone but you and Dave can see that you two are in love with one another. What I don't get is why are you scared to tell him?"
JJ sighed. "You know what let's just forget about the men tonight. Tonight is you and me. You are my best friend Emily."
Emily raised her long island ice tea up and saluted JJ and said "And you are my best friend JJ. I can talk to you about things that I can't talk to anybody else about."
JJ smiled and nodded.
Both women were thinking that they were both very lucky to be friends with one another. They were alike in some ways but yet totally different in other ways. They knew that they would always be best friends no matter what life threw their way.
