Hey! I'm here with a short story for my other fan fiction 'H2O: Just Add Friendship'. I feel this would happen in the story, but it's something don't want to put in the main story, so here you go! Takes place in June a year later, and one month before their year anniversary of becoming mermaids. So please R&R! Maggie embraced the hug of Luke, they were finally together. "So what are the plans for today?" Maggie asked her boyfriend.

"I thought we could just walk around the park, and talk for a while." Luke answered her.

"Sure, that'd be great!" Maggie exclaimed.

They started walking side-by-side, until Luke intertwined his right hand, with Maggie's left hand. Maggie did the same, of course. She loved to hold hands, she did it with Luke before they were a couple, and she did it with Claire a lot.

Maggie and Luke talked for an hour about all kinds of things; school, Maggie's powers, friends, and shipping Anthony, and Ivy; their older siblings. I was a great day! It was going to be a great day, after they were finished talking, they decided to go to the Dough Roller, and have some lunch.

Later that night…..

"Claire, get out of the water!" Maggie shouted at her friend. Maggie, Claire, and Eliza had gone for a night swim, with Luke riding in his boat. All of the sudden out of nowhere, two scuba divers had seen them as mermaids, and tried to take them. Their plan was to get out of the water, dry themselves off, and go home to hide. But they were some difficulties with that plan; Maggie and Eliza had gotten out of the water, and dried themselves already. But Claire was still in the water; Luke was still riding in his boat towards the shore. Maggie was already getting nervous, "Claire, Luke, hurry up!" She shouted again.

Claire finally made it to shore, and Eliza started using her powers to dry her off, "Where's Luke?" Eliza asked.

"He's back there somewhere." Claire responded, and point back at the water.

Maggie was watching the water, waiting for Luke's boat to come in sight, "Where is he?" Maggie whispered, she was close to crying. "I need to know you're okay."

After Eliza was done drying off Claire, they both joined her, "Don't worry, he'll be back soon." Eliza said to Maggie, trying to reassure her.

"No, the scuba divers took him. He would have been back by now, if they didn't." Maggie said, and then started crying. Claire had a look of sadness on her face, "Maggie's right Eliza, his boat isn't that slow, he would be back by now." After Claire said that, she started crying too. Eliza felt sadness, but she didn't cry, she cried on the inside. "Guys, we might want to get out of here. It's getting late, and our parents are going to wonder where we are." Eliza reminded them.

But Maggie was very furious at Eliza, "How is that all you can think about?! I just lost my best-friend, Claire just lost her brother, and you just lost…." Maggie didn't finish that sentence, she knew what Eliza thought of Luke, and she didn't like him, "Just forget it!" Maggie said to Eliza, and then walked away angrily. Maggie stood on left side of Claire; she wanted to be away from Eliza. Maggie and Claire conjoined hands, they stood there, and just looked out at the ocean, praying Luke would return. They both knew it was a lost cause, the mysterious scuba divers took him, but they both also knew that Luke was still out there. "Guys," Eliza said, and then Maggie and Claire turned around, "We need to go back to Claire's house, and tell her parents everything; if Luke just suddenly disappears, his parents will ask questions. They deserve to know anyway." Eliza said to them, "Besides; we won't find him tonight on own anyways, we need to tell his parents."

"Eliza's right, Maggie, we need to tell my parents." Claire side to Maggie, and looked straight into her blue-grey eyes.

"You're both right, we need to tell your parents, they will understand." Maggie said to both Claire and Eliza.

"Let's go then." Eliza said to them both.

Twenty Minutes earlier…

Luke looked out into the distance, he saw another boat, and started to worry. He stared at the boat, he didn't see people in it, and this worried him even more. If there were people out here and they weren't in their boat that would mean those people are scuba diving. And if people were scuba diving around here, there's a ninety-nine percent chance they would see Maggie, Claire, and Eliza as mermaids. Before Luke could warn them about it, Maggie burst up from the water, "People are down there, and they saw us as mermaids. We need to get out of here!" After Maggie said that, she dived back into the water, and swam away. Luke started up his boat, and started heading towards the direction of the shore. He knew Maggie and Eliza had already made it to shore, they were fast when they were swimming. Claire was also fast, but slower compared to Maggie and Eliza. While Luke was just sitting there, heading towards land, he felt something rock his boat, and then his boat stopped. He turned around, only to be met with two unknown faces of men. "We know those mermaids are your friends." The one on the right said to him.

"Who said anything about mermaids?" Luke asked, trying to play the dumb card.

"Oh come on, one of them came up to this boat after they saw us. That means they trust you." The other said, "Now we don't want any trouble, just tell us everything you know about those mermaids, and we will let you go."

"And what happens if I don't?" Luke asked.

"Then you'll have trouble with us; and you don't want that." The one the right said.

Luke thought about everything, he knew what he had to do, and he didn't have to think a second about it. "I will not tell you anything." He said to them firmly.

"Now you have you have some trouble with is." The one on the left told him.

But before Luke could say anything, he felt a blow to the head, and then everything went black.
