He walked down the stairs and saw her. She was asleep on the couch , with her laptop on her chest. She was most likely doing extra credit work or finishing her piece for the stopped on the landing admiring her beauty from afar , she looked like an angel , her hair was framing her heart shaped face , her eye lids were closed covering her crystal clear blue eyes , the eyes that if you stare into long enough it feels like she's staring right into your walked over to the front of the couch , crouching down their faces , a foot away he took her lap top off her chest lightly brushing her hand by accident , he turned it off and placed it on the coffee table . He took the blanket at the bottom of her feet and gently covered her with it. He leaned in closer their faces a couple inches apart, he whispered in her ear not really meaning to whisper 'I love you, Casey' but doing so anyway.

She heard someone coming down the stairs , not wanting to deal with anyone at the moment . She closed her eyes acting as if she were asleep. She heard the person stop at the landing, not wanting to risk being caught faking sleep she didn't dare open her eyes, not even a millimeter. For what felt like hours to her the person finally started moving from the landing but not in the direction she hoped for , instead she heard the person's footsteps coming toward her . She felt the person take her laptop off her chest and heard the person place it on the table. She then felt the person pull the blanket out from under her feet , and gently placing it on her . The person then lightly brushed their hands together , the persons hand felt rough and most likely belonged to one of the three men in the house. and only two were known to be upstairs , and out of the two she guessed that it was , the one she loved in much more then the brotherly sense. She could tell that their faces were at least a mere couple inches apart. Then she heard him whisper something that surprised her greatly.'I love you Casey' She heard him say the only thought that came to her mind was 'I love you too Derek ' , she hadn't even realized she said out loud .

The next thing they both knew they were staring into each others eyes , soft, warm brown against crystal clear blue.
