So I was watching TV and the music video of the song "Round and Round" came on, and I just thought of how much it reminded me of Draco and Hermione! So I was inspired to write this songfic:

How could he? They were hidden behind a tapestry, just last night, telling secrets. He told her he loved her no matter what. And she told him she didn't care what people thought about her. But now, he was standing with his friends, and calling her a…a…a Mudblood! How could he?

Why was he so confusing? Why did he make her feel like she was the one who had betrayed him? Even though he was the one who said one thing to her, and another to his friends.

But she missed him. When she tried to shun him, her heart protested with every ounce of its being. But she felt like they were never going to get anywhere.

She was stuck! Always the cycle of him telling her he loved her, and then cursing her as soon as he was with his friends. And then he'd tell her he hadn't meant it, and that he loved her and the cycle continued.

She kept trying to leave him, she was so sick of his lying, his false promises, and the way he treated her like she was something he could drop and pick up again.

And he would always whisper that he loved her, that it was all an illusion, that what was real was them. And she always succumbed; she always came around to his side.

They somehow always ended up together again. And she'd fall for him all over again. But it couldn't continue! They were stuck in a circle.

"I'm sick of you Draco!" she would yell. And he would tell her he loved her, and something about him made her come around.

And she'd ask him if he loved her. And she'd wait forever for an answer.

And he'd say he loved her. But this time, she wasn't sure if she believed him.

He was a liar, and he tricked her. And she had to tell him so.
