This is a continuation off of my first story. It's a couple of days after the bar. Also I don't own anything or make any money off of this…. Yad yad yad. On with the story.
The ducks were relaxing down in the tv room. Grin was playing chess with Tanya. Mallory and Wildwing were watching the news but Duke and Nosedive were nowhere to be seen. Making it a peaceful day. Wildwing wrapped his arm around Mallory and pulled her to his side. He hugged his girlfriend close as she drifted in and out of sleep on his chest. He had been happy with the way everything played out in the media for them. They were officially seen as a couple and Phil had actually been fine with the big reveal. He made them do a lot of interviews about it but otherwise it was nice. He was happy that they were seen as a couple now. When the time was right, he planned to ask Mallory to marry him. He was hopeful that she would say yes.
On the other side of the room Tanya distracted herself with playing chess with Grin. She was embarrassed that she had woken up in bed with Duke. He couldn't have been more pleased and let her know on a daily basis. She wouldn't admit it out loud but she was avoiding him. It wasn't like she didn't like Duke. She did. A lot. But she didn't know how to handle him. Her most serious relationship had been back on Puckworld and she had been in high-school. After high-school her obsession for technology over took her life and boys were never on her mind like most girls. So here she was. In her late twenties and recently de-virginised. It made sense that she was nervous. Her thoughts were interrupted by Duke and Nosedive running in the room and clashing fake swords. Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at the two playing ducks. It was clearly friendly. Duke was dressed in his usual get up but Nosedive was clearly trying to look like a pirate. Everyone watching them swashbuckle around until Mallory realized something that had yet to capture anyone's attention. "Nosedive. What's that on your head?" Nosedive didn't take his eyes off of Duke as he slashed at him. Duke however looked back and forth between Mallory and Nosedive waiting for the soon to come freak out. He was clearly amused. "Nothing is on my head Mal." Nosedive slashed at Duke and Duke chuckled and knocked Nosedive's sword out of his hand. Nosedive put his arms up in surrender. "NO! IT'S NOT NOTHING! YOUR WEARING MY UNDERWEAR!"
Duke started laughing and Nosedive smirked. Wildwing took a closer look at Nosedive and realized that he was in fact wearing one of his girlfriend's thong as an eye patch! Those were one of his favorites on her too! "NOSEDIVE FLASHBLADE! TAKE THOSE OFF YOUR HEAD RIGHT NOW!" Nosedive shrugged his shoulders. "Awe come on Bro. You call these underwear? They don't cover anything. Their much better as an eye patch!" Duke laughed harder, Tanya watched with her mouth wide open, Grin raised an eyebrow at the youngest teammate, Mallory fumed, and WIldwing leapt over the couch at this brother. He had every intention of getting Mallory's thong back from his younger brother. Seeing his brother coming at him Nosedive ran away with the underwear still firmly on his head. "BRO DON'T BE MAD! IT WAS JUST A GAME! IT'S NOT LIKE I RAID MAL'S PANTY DRAWERS AND STEAL HER UNDERWEAR! I WAS GONNA RETURN IT HONEST!" "NOSEDIIVVEEE!" WIldwing yelled chasing him down the hall. Everyone watched that brothers disappear down the hall with Mallory following after. Promising threats of pain.
Duke took the opportunity to stop next to Tanya and whisper in her ear. She watched him curiously until her expression turned into one of surprise and her face turned bright red. "I wouldn't mind raiding your panties right now." Duke whispered and walked away looking far too smug for his own good. Tanya could only sputter. She was unable to get out a response.
