'You are protected, in short, by your ability to love! The only protection that can possibly work against the lure of power like Voldemort's! In spite of all the temptation you have endured: all the suffering, you remain pure of heart, just as pure as you were at the age of eleven when you stared into a mirror that reflected your heart's desire, and it showed you the only way to thwart Lord Voldemort, and not immortality or riches.' Harry Potter mumbled to himself the words Dumbledore once told him. "If my ability to love was able to protect me so well then how did I end up in this situation?" The curious teen asked himself, trying his hardest to deduce where things went crazy… well crazier… Because at this very moment Harry could feel the sleeping teenage form of the dark lord; otherwise known as Tom Riddle, snuggle into his back. Each time he tried to squirm away, he could feel Tom's grip on him tighten even more. Thus for now he was stuck in this strange situation. What was most annoying was that wherever Harry decided to go, Tom had to follow not far behind. "When did this turn into an insane version of Mary had a little lamb?" The tired male thought to no one in particular as he gave up on trying to squirm away from the slightly older teen. The effort that had been put into his attempts to get away, simply wound up making more tired than each prior attempt. Yet he did not find it safe to fall asleep… not while Tom was clinging to him… not while this dark and demented man was only a breaths away from him.
A single red eye opened, quickly glancing over the form of the teen fighting off sleep. Tom sighed lightly as he spoke in snake language otherwise known as parseltongue. "You know Harry if I wanted to harm you than I would've done so already. Now get some sleep you don't want to fail your potions test due to lack of sleep, do you?" Hints of concern for the smaller teen had noticeably laced the voice of the dark minded teen. "Like you care 'sides 'm not tired." Harry grumbled as he was half-awake. "I do care since I helped you study your backside off for the potions test, and you're lying as you sound tired beyond all belief." The raven-haired teen snorted at the comment. "Fine I'm tired, just don't trust myself to fall asleep with you near." Tom sighed a little then made a few sleepy hissing sounds. "As I said, if I wanted to harm you than I would've done so already. Now please get some sleep." He said before falling back to sleep. Harry sighed as he knew that he couldn't fight sleep off much longer, and that Tom was right. 'Sadly enough Tom is right, if he wanted to harm me than he already would've. So whether I like it or not, I should sleep…' The Gryffindor thought to himself as he finally drifted off to sleep.
