A/N: First Fanfic I have ever written! I actually got this idea because today I went to the theater to watch 'The Rise of the Guardians' which I think it's pretty cool. Oh, and Jack Frost fangirl over here! Sorry for any spelling mistakes, feel free to correct me on the Review section. No flames please! Cookie for anyone that reviews!

Disclaimer: I don't own 'Rise of the Guardians' or any of its characters (Although I wish I owned Jack Frost). However, Claire, Riley, Monica and many more characters are mine.

Chapter I

Claire's (Coco) POV

Beep Beep Beep.

'Ugh, it's already … SEVEN!' I read from my alarm clock. Quickly, I jumped from my covers to get dressed for school, when I actually touched the floor with my feet. It was freezing! How could I actually go to school with this climate? 'Coco? Guess what? It's snowing! School is canceled! Woohoooo!' My little brother Riley and my little sister, Monica cried in happiness. Well, thank God I didn't actually wake up late today, I would have got late to school and my horrible teacher, Mr. Nash would have killed me. Literally.

My name's Claire, but some call me 'Coco'. I have a strong interest in snow and winter or anything involved with it. I know, I know. It's kind of weird isn't? Some of my classmates think I'm really odd and childish. I really always wondered how winter comes to live, how when I wake up snow is falling from the sky. How can my window become really cold, how do snowflakes fall? How are they so different from each other? Questions like this make me want to read more about this topic. Of course, I have read about this 'Jack Frost' on the internet and on the library. Is he real? How can a person do that, change the weather!? My siblings have claimed they have had seen him and even played with him. I'm too old for that, I need real facts! 'Hey Claire, honey come down to eat breakfast!' my mom shouted from downstairs. 'Coming!' I responded. I got a quick shower and changed really fast into a long-sleeved, white t-shirt and a really frilly blue sweater, some jeans and boots, and my scarf and mittens to not get cold.

As I was coming downstairs, I looked out the window. Snow… I always get lost by watching snow fall... 'Coco!' my mom called again. 'Alright, alright I'm coming!'

I sat down on the table while my mom served me some pancakes, when suddenly, Monica said: 'Coco wanna go sledding today!?' Monica, or MoMo as I would call her, asked me. 'Not today MoMo, I think I'm going to the library'- I responded. 'You're sooo boring Coco! Jack Frost made snow for us today, and YOU go to the library? Bo-ring,' Riley said to me. 'Okay, I'm pretty sure Coco has some homework to finish, that's why she is going to the library. Right Coco?' Mom interrupted Riley. If mom was thinking I was going to do some research, she was right, but if she thought it was for homework, she was wrong. 'Yeah, homework...' I said with a sarcastic tone, which my mom didn't catch. 'Well, gotta go! I'll come by twelve to eat lunch!' I shouted on my way out the house.

As I was walking down to the library, I felt snow on my neck, caused by someone throwing a snowball at me. Don't get me wrong, I love playing snowball fights, but I didn't even say I wanted to play! That bastard was going down. I turned around ready to say something not so nice to whoever threw the snowball. 'Hey!' I shouted, when I saw a silver hair teenage boy smiling at me.

It was the so-called Jack Frost.
