Avatar Katara Water Bender of the South
This is my first fan fiction so please bear with me. By the way it's a Zutara fan fiction.

Chapter One, Avatar what?
Katara opened her eyes and sighed, ugh I don't feel like getting up its so cold. She thought.
"KATARA!" Yelled Sokka from some ware outside,
"Have you seen my boomerang?" "No, and why would I know where your stupid boomerang is any way?" replied Katara.
Katara slowly got up yawned and put on her parka. Katara left her igloo to start her morning chores with
Sokka, when GranGran walked up to Katara with the other tribe elders. "Katara, we need to speak with you privately please."
Katara and her brother exchanged confused looks. "ok" she said and followed the elders inside the Igloo of elders.
Once inside the igloo the elders sat down and spoke, "Katara we have been watching you closely ever since you were little, you have been different," they said, Wow, that's kind of creepy thought Katara.
"You have never failed to amaze us, when you were a little girl all of the children of both northern and southern tribes were tested, we presented to them with normal toys and the possessions of former
Avatars to see which setoff things they would chose," Elder Koda went on "And none of the children chose the avatars possessions except for a little girl."
"Who was that little girl?" asked Katara, "You" said the elder."Me?" Katara asked confused as ever.
"So does that make me the Av….." Elder Koda cut her off, "Yes, Katara you are the Avatar"
"It is your duty to unite the Three nations and restore peace and harmony as well as balance"
