The Sun and the Moon
I have no idea why I wrote this. Enough said.

Once upon a time
The sun and the moon lived together in harmony
"Inuyasha" Kagome cried, "Ramen time!" Kagome smiled as her family of the road settled down for dinner. " A family....." she thought.
Each helping the other
Whenever the need arose.
"Here," said Inuasha, "It's made from hair of the fire rat. It'll give you some protection at least."
But one day,
The sun committed an unforgivable offence
"I love only you, Kikyo. Kagome? What about her? She's nothing but a shard detector, a pale shadow of the original."
Horrified, the moon fled
To the other end of the sky.
"I'll always be second to Kikyo, at least in Inuyasha's eyes," Kagome thought, " A replacement in case she ever decides to leave."
The sun saw the fleeing moon and gave chase,
Determined to tell her the 'truth'.
" I can't take this, 'she thought, 'I just can't."
But he would never catch her
"Goodbye Inuyasha."
"KAGOME!!!!"
Doomed to chase after her for all of time,
Doomed never to love again.
